Synthetic surfaces for outdoor sports areas - Specification

This European Standard specifies the requirements for synthetic (polymeric) surfaces (installed in situ and prefabricated) for outdoor sports facilities. It covers synthetic surfaces for the following applications: - athletics, track and field; - tennis; - multi-sports. The European Standard has two parts; the first describes the requirements for the testing of products in the laboratory to ensure they are capable of providing the required levels of sports performance and player/surface interaction required for their intended use and that they are manufactured from materials of acceptable quality. The second section describes the requirements for installed surfaces to ensure that the sports performance and player/surface interaction properties are suitable for the intended use. When independent third party testing of synthetic sports surfaces is required to assess compliance with this standard, it is recommended the laboratory is certified to EN ISO/IEC 17025 for the relevant test methods specified in this standard. This European Standard is not designed to cover the performance requirements of top-level athletics facilities; these should follow the requirements of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).

Kunststoffflächen auf Sportanlagen im Freien - Anforderungen

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen für (vor Ort verlegte oder vorgefertigte) Kunststoffflächen auf Sportanlagen im Freien fest. Sie gilt für Kunststoffflächen für die folgenden Anwendungsbereiche:
   Leichtathletik;
   Tennis;
   Mehrzweck-Sportanlagen.
Diese Europäische Norm besteht aus zwei Teilen. Im ersten Teil werden die Anforderungen an die Prüfung von Produkten im Labor beschrieben. Mit den Prüfungen soll sichergestellt werden, dass die Produkte sowohl das sportliche Leistungsniveau und als auch das Niveau an Spieler-/Boden-Interaktion erreichen, die für den Verwendungszweck erforderlich sind, und dass sie aus Materialien aus akzeptabler Qualität hergestellt werden. Der zweite Teil beschreibt die Anforderungen an die eingebauten Sportböden. Die Anforderungen sollen sicherstellen, dass sowohl das sportliche Leistungsniveau als auch die Spieler-/Boden-Interaktion für den vorgesehenen Verwendungszweck geeignet sind.
Für den Fall, dass Prüfungen an Kunststoffsportböden durch eine unabhängige Stelle erforderlich sind, um die Übereinstimmung mit dieser Norm zu beurteilen, wird empfohlen, ein Labor zu beauftragen, dass nach EN ISO/IEC 17025 für die Durchführung der in dieser Norm festgelegten erforderlichen Prüfungen zertifiziert ist.
ANMERKUNG 1   Beispiele für Belagstypen und deren Anwendungsbereiche sind in Anhang A dargestellt.
ANMERKUNG 2   „Mehrzweck-Sportanlagen" werden in den einschlägigen nationalen Bestimmungen definiert.
ANMERKUNG 3   Mindestanforderungen an die Dicke von Kunststoffflächen sind angegeben. Das heißt, dass diese Europäische Norm nicht für bestimmte Beschichtungen für Sportböden gilt.
Leistungsanforderungen für Leichtathletikanlagen für den Spitzensport werden in dieser Europäischen Norm nicht behandelt. Diese sollten sich nach den Anforderungen des Weltleichtathletikverbands IAAF (International Association of Athletics Federations) richten.
ANMERKUNG 4   Diese Europäische Norm enthält keine Anforderungen an Kunststoffrasenflächen; diese werden in EN 15330-1 festgelegt.

Revêtements synthétiques pour terrains de sport en plein air - Spécification

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences applicables aux revêtements synthétiques (polymères), fabriqués sur site ou en usine, pour installations de sport en plein air. Elle traite des revêtements synthétiques pour applications suivantes :
   athlétisme ;
   tennis ;
   activités multisports.
La présente Norme européenne comporte deux parties. La première décrit les exigences concernant les essais réalisés en laboratoire sur les produits afin de s'assurer qu'ils sont à même de fournir les niveaux de performance sportive et d'interaction joueur/surface requis pour l'usage prévu, et qu'ils sont fabriqués à partir de matériaux de qualité satisfaisante. La seconde partie décrit les exigences relatives aux revêtements installés, qui visent à garantir que les propriétés de performance sportive et d'interaction joueur/surface offertes par ces revêtements sont en adéquation avec l'usage prévu.
Lorsque la réalisation par une tierce partie d'essais indépendants visant à évaluer la conformité à la présente norme de sols sportifs synthétiques est requise, il est recommandé de faire appel à un laboratoire certifié EN ISO/CEI 17025 pour les méthodes d'essais appropriées spécifiées dans cette norme.
NOTE 1   L’Annexe A donne des exemples de types de revêtement et de leur domaine d’application.
NOTE 2   Le terme « multisports » sera défini dans les dispositions nationales appropriées.
NOTE 3   Les exigences minimales applicables à l’épaisseur du sol sportif synthétique sont spécifiées, ce qui signifie que la présente Norme européenne ne s’applique pas à certains revêtements utilisés pour les sols sportifs.
La présente Norme européenne n'est pas conçue pour couvrir les exigences de performance des installations d'athlétisme de haut niveau ; il est recommandé pour ces dernières de respecter les exigences définies par l'Association internationale des fédérations d'athlétisme (IAAF - International Association of Athletics Federations).

Podloge iz umetnih snovi za zunanje športne dejavnosti - Specifikacija

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve za podloge iz umetnih (polimernih) snovi (položene na kraju samem in izdelane vnaprej) za zunanje športne objekte. Zajema podloge iz umetnih snovi za naslednje uporabe: – atletika; – tenis; – mešani športi. Evropski standard ima dva dela; prvi opisuje zahteve za preskušanje izdelkov v laboratoriju, da se zagotovi njihova zmožnost zagotavljanja potrebne ravni športne učinkovitosti in interakcije med športnikom/podlogo, potrebne za njihovo načrtovano uporabo, in proizvodnja iz materialov sprejemljive kakovosti. Drugi del opisuje zahteve za nameščene podloge, da se zagotovi, da so lastnosti športne učinkovitosti in interakcije med športnikom/podlogo primerne za načrtovano uporabo. Kadar je za oceno skladnosti s tem standardom potrebno neodvisno testiranje športnih podlog iz umetnih snovi, ki ga izvede tretja stranka, se priporoča, da je laboratorij certificiran v skladu s standardom EN ISO/IEC 17025 za ustrezne preskusne metode, opredeljene v tem standardu. If multi-sports areas are to include athletics activities involving the use of athletics running spikes, the synthetic surfacing shall also satisfy the requirements of Table 1, 1.2.5 – Spike Resistance. 4.4 Wet test specimens shall be prepared using the procedure detailed in Annex B. 4.5 Shock Absorption and Vertical Deformation measurements shall be made in three positions each at least 100 mm apart and the mean result calculated. 4.6 Slip Resistance shall be measured in at least two directions at 90° to each other. Note 1 to entry: These facilities normally enable sports such as handball, basketball, volleyball and small-sided football to be played, and they can also be used for physical education and many other sporting activities.
4 Laboratory test requirements 4.1 Synthetic surfaces intended for athletic facilities shall satisfy the requirements of Table 1. 4.2 Synthetic surfaces intended for tennis facilities shall satisfy the requirements of Table 2. 4.3 Synthetic surfaces intended for multi-sports facilities shall satisfy the requirements of Table 3. If multi-sports areas are to include athletics activities involving the use of athletics running spikes the synthetic surfacing shall also satisfy the requirements of Table 1, 1.2.5 – Spike Resistance. 4.4 Wet test specimens shall be prepared using the procedure detailed in Annex B. 4.5 Shock Absorption and Vertical Deformation measurments shall be made in three positions each at least 100mm apart and the mean result calculated 4.6 Slip Resistance shall be measured in at least two directions at 90° to each other.
