CEN/TC 148/WG 3 - Safety requirements for continuous mechanical handling equipment for bulk materials excluding fixed belt conveyors

This standard is applicable to continuously-operating equipment and systems designed for the mechanical handling of bulk materials only, including mobile machines. This standard relates to the following groups of equipment. - Fixed equipment, such as belt, apron, screw "en masse" conveyors and feeders, bucket elevators, for instance. Horizontal rotary feeders with paddlers, vibrating, reciprocating, rotary drum, rotary vane, rotary table conveyors and feeders are also covered.
