Standard Specification for Steel Chain-Link Fencing Materials Used for High Security Applications

ABSTRACT
This specification covers chain-link fencing material applications for high security applications. Fabric shall be attached with tie wires or other appropriate fasteners. Fabric shall be attached with tie wires or other appropriate fasteners. Fabric, shall be attached to the terminal post using tension bars with tension bands or vertical straps. Barbed wire shall be installed, in accordance with the requirement, with one or more strands, depending on the degree of security required, or in conjunction with the use of barbed tape obstacles. Fabric shall be secured to tension wire using steel hog rings.
SCOPE
1.1 This specification covers chain-link fencing material applications for detention and correctional facilities.
1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard. The SI values given in parentheses are provided for information only.
