SCOPE
1.1 This specification covers a group of general requirements that, unless otherwise specified in the purchase order or in an individual specification, shall apply to rolled nickel and nickel alloy plate, sheet, and strip, under each of the following specifications issued by ASTM: Specifications B 127, B 162, B 168, B 333, B 409, B 424, B 434, B 435, B 443, B 463, B 536, B 575, B 582, B 599, B 620, B 625, B 670, B 688, B 709, B 718, B 755, B 814, B 818, B 872.
1.2 In case of any conflicting requirements, the requirements of the purchase order, the individual material specification, and this general specification shall prevail in the sequence named.
1.3 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.

SCOPE
1.1 This specification covers nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy (UNS N06625), nickel-chromium-molybdenum-silicon alloy (UNS N06219), and Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum-Tungsten Alloy (UNS N06650)2 in the form of both hot-worked and cold-worked rod and bar in the conditions shown in Table 1.  
1.1.1 UNS N06625 products are furnished in three grades of different heat-treated conditions:
1.1.1.1 Grade 1 (Annealed)—Material is normally employed in service temperatures up to 1100 °F (593 °C).
1.1.1.2 Grade 2 (Solution Annealed)—Material is normally employed in service temperatures above 1100 °F (593 °C) when resistance to creep and rupture is required.  
Note 1: Hot-working or reannealing may change properties significantly, depending on working history and temperatures.
1.1.1.3 Grade 3 (Solution Annealed and Cold Worked)—Material is normally employed in services where higher strengths are needed.  
1.1.2 Alloys UNS N06219 and UNS N06650 are supplied in solution annealed condition only.

ABSTRACT
This specification covers the standard requirements for UNS N08028 seamless cold-finished or hot-finished pipe and tube intended for general corrosive services. The pipe and tube shall be furnished in the solution-annealed condition and heat treated at a certain range of temperature by subsequent quenching in water or rapidly cooling by other means. Chemical and product analysis shall be conducted on each lot of material as described in a referenced ASTM document and shall conform to the required chemical composition for carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, copper, and iron. Standard Specification for Electric Fusion Welded Nickel and Nickel Alloy Pipe

ABSTRACT
This specification covers electric fusion welded pipe suitable for high-temperature or corrosive service. The pipes are designated into five classes namely Class 1, Class 2, Class 3, Class 4 and Class 5, according to how they are to be welded. The joints shall be full penetration double-welded or single-welded butt joints employing fusion welding processes. The furnished pipe shall undergo heat treatment and a chemical analysis shall be employed for both plate and weld. Each pipe shall be subjected to transverse tension test, transverse guided weld bend test and hydrostatic pressure test.
SCOPE
1.1 This specification covers electric fusion welded pipe suitable for high-temperature or corrosive service as listed in Table 1. (Although no restrictions are placed on the sizes of pipe that may be furnished under this specification, commercial practice is commonly limited to sizes not less than 8 in. [203 mm] nominal diameter.)  
1.2 Five classes of pipe are covered as follows:  
1.2.1 Class 1—Pipe shall be double welded by processes employing filler metal in all passes and shall be completely radiographed.  
1.2.2 Class 2—Pipe shall be double welded by processes employing filler metal in all passes. No radiography is required.  
1.2.3 Class 3—Pipe shall be single welded by processes employing filler metal in all passes and shall be completely radiographed.  
1.2.4 Class 4—Same as Class 3 except that the weld pass exposed to the inside pipe surface may be made without the addition of filler metal.  
1.2.5 Class 5—Pipe shall be double welded by processes employing filler metal in all passes and shall be spot radiographed.  
1.3 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in each system are not necessarily exact equivalents; therefore, to ensure conformance with the standard, each system shall be used independently of the other, and values from the two systems shall not be combined.

ABSTRACT
This specification covers UNS N06625 and UNS N06852 nickel-chromium-molybdenum-columbium alloys and UNS N06219 nickel-chromium-molybdenum-silicon alloy in the form of cold-worked seamless pipe and tube. UNS N06625 products are furnished in annealed Grade 1 and solution annealed Grade 2 while UNS N06219 and UNS N06852 are in solution annealed condition only. Chemical testing shall be performed on each type of material and shall conform to the chemical composition limits specified for carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium, tantalum, columbium, cobalt, molybdenum, iron, aluminum, titanium, copper, and nickel. The material shall undergo tensile testing and shall conform to the required room temperature tensile properties like tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation depending on the heat treatment used and including small diameter and light-walled tubing. Each pipe or tube shall undergo hydrostatic testing and shall conform to the allowable fiber stress and also be examined with a nondestructive electric test as prescribed.
