  • Calculation: Chlorophyll content (mg/kg) is calculated from Acorr, with constant k = 13, taking into account cell path length, solvent volume and test portion mass. Dry‑basis reporting requires moisture correction per ISO 665.
  • Apparatus: Analytical balance (0.001 g), grinder/microgrinder or ball mill, spectrometer (600–700 nm), optical cells (≥1 cm path), pipettes, filter paper and culture tubes.
  • Precision: Repeatability limit ≈ 10 % (relative) and reproducibility limit ≈ 20 % under the conditions of the interlaboratory study reported in the standard.
