Resilient floor coverings - Classification

This European Standard establishes a classification system for resilient floor coverings. The use of this classification of premises is strongly linked to the requirements specified in the European Standard for each type of resilient floor covering. This standard is also intended to give guidance to manufacturers, specifiers and consumers to enable them to choose the appropriate class of resilient floor covering for any given area of use or specific room. The guidance is based on practical requirements for areas of use and intensity of use.

Elastische Bodenbeläge - Klassifizierung

Diese Europäische Norm stellt ein Klassifizierungssystem für elastische Bodenbeläge ein. Die Anwendung dieser Klassifizierung von Verwendungsbereichen ist an die Anforderungen gebunden, die in den Europäischen Normen für jede Art von elastischen Bodenbelägen festgelegt sind. Diese Norm soll außerdem Herstellern, Ausschreibern und Verbrauchern einen Leitfaden geben und sie in die Lage versetzen, die geeignete Klasse von elastischen Bodenbelägen für einen vorgesehenen Verwendungsbereich oder für spezielle Räume außuwälen.

Revêtements de sol résilients - Classification

La présente norme européenne établit un système de classification des revêtements de sol résilients. L'utilisation de la classification est liée aux spécifications fixées dans les normes européennes spécifiques à chaque type de revêtement de sol résilient. La présente norme européenne est aussi destinée à servir de guide aux fabricants, aux spécificateurs et aux consommateurs pour leur permettre de choisir la classe appropriée de revêtement de sol résilient en fonction d'une zone d'utilisation donnée ou d'un local particulier. Le guide est basé sur des niveaux d'exigences en fonction des zones d'utilisation.
