Aerospace series - Non-metallic materials - Glass transparencies - Test methods - Determination of flatness

This European Standard defines the requirements for the determination of the flatness of monolithic glass transparencies for aircraft applications. The method is designed to eliminate the effect of the glass deflecting under its own weight, thus eliminating false results.

Diese Norm legt die Anforderungen zur Bestimmung der Ebenheit von transparenten Glaswerkstoffen zur Anwendung in Luftfahrzeugen fest. Das Verfahren ist zur Eliminierung der Glasdurchbiegung durch das Eigengewicht ausgelegt, um so falsche Ergebnisse auszuschließen.

La présente Norme européenne définit les exigences pour la détermination de la planéité des transparents en verre monolithique pour les applications aérospatiales.  La méthode est conçue pour éliminer les effets de déformation du verre sous son propre poids, en éliminant donc les faux résultats.
