Building hardware - Lever handles and knob furniture - Requirements and test methods

This European Standard specifies test methods and requirements for spindle and fastening elements, operating torques, permissible free play and safety, free angular movement and misalignment, durability, static strength and corrosion resistance for sprung and unsprung lever handles, knobs for doors, push pads and similar in combination with backplates or roses operating latches.
This document is applicable only to lever handles and knobs that operate a latch or a lock and other devices.
It specifies four categories of use according to frequency and other conditions of use.

Schlösser und Baubeschläge - Türdrücker und Türknäufe - Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren

Diese Europäische Norm legt Prüfverfahren für und Anforderungen an Drückerstifte und Befestigungselemente,
Betätigungsmomente, zulässiges freies Spiel und Sicherheit, freie Winkelbewegung und Versetzung,
Dauerfunktionstüchtigkeit, statische Festigkeit und Korrosionsbeständigkeit von Fallen betätigenden
Türdrückern und Türknäufen mit und ohne Federsystem, Stoßplatten und Ähnlichem in Kombination mit
Türschildern oder Türrosetten zur Betätigung von Schlossfallen fest.
Dieses Dokument gilt nur für Türdrücker und Türknäufe, mit denen ein Fallenriegel oder ein Schloss sowie
sonstige Einrichtungen betätigt werden.
In dieser Norm sind entsprechend der Betätigungsfrequenz und weiteren Bedingungen vier Klassen für die
Gebrauchskategorie festgelegt.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les méthodes d'essai ainsi que les exigences pour les tiges carrées et les éléments de fixation, les couples de manœuvre, le jeu autorisé et la sécurité, la rotation et le désaxage, l'endurance, la résistance statique et la résistance à la corrosion pour les dispositifs de porte à béquilles avec et sans ressort de rappel, les boutons de porte, les plaques de poussée et similaires en combinaison avec des plaques ou rosettes de manœuvre des serrures.
Le présent document s'applique uniquement aux béquilles et boutons de portes qui manœuvrent une serrure à pêne dormant ou une serrure bec de cane et d'autres dispositifs.
Il spécifie quatre catégories d'utilisation selon la nature et la fréquence d'utilisation.

Stavbno okovje - Kljuke in bunke - Zahteve in preskusne metode

Ta evropski standard opredeljuje preskusne metode in zahteve za vretena in pritrditvene elemente, obratovalne vrtilne momente, dopustno prosto delovanje in varnost, prosto kotno gibanje in neporavnanost, trajnost, statično trdnost in odpornost proti koroziji za vzmetene in nevzmetene kljuke in bunke za vrata na čelnih ploščah ali rozetah. Ta standard se uporablja samo za kljuke in bunke, ki delujejo z zapahom ali ključavnico.  Navaja štiri kategorije uporabe glede na pogostost in druge pogoje uporabe. Skladnost s tem evropskim standardom zagotavlja presežek trdnosti, potrebne za običajno obratovanje. Dodatne zahteve so potrebne za posebno varnostno opremo, ki je primerna za uporabo v situacijah, kjer je veliko tveganje padca. Ker posebna varnostna oprema ni bistvenega pomena v vsaki situaciji, ta evropski standard predpisuje dodatne varnostne zahteve (glej 5.13), ki so potrebne samo, kadar proizvajalec izjavi, da se za varnostno opremo trdi, da je skladna s temi zahtevami. Ta standard navaja pet razredov varnosti. Razred 0 v skladu z zahtevami navedenimi v glavnem delu tega standarda. Razredi od 1 do 4 so navedeni v skladu z zahtevo za opremo z varnostno ključavnico, za uporabo na vratih, odpornih proti vlomu (glej Dodatek A). Te dodatne varnostne zahteve so potrebne samo, kadar proizvajalec navaja, da se za izdelke trdi, da imajo visoko stopnjo varnosti, kar ni bistvenega pomena v vsaki situaciji. Primernost ključavnic in zapahov za uporabo na sklopih dimnih/požarnih vrat je določena s preskusi požarne odpornosti, ki so izvedeni poleg preskusov delovanja, ki jih zahteva ta standard. Ker primernost za uporabo na sklopih dimnih/požarnih vrat ni bistvenega pomena v vsaki situaciji, ima proizvajalec izbiro navesti ali se za opremo trdi, da je skladna s temi dodatnimi zahtevami ali ne. Če je to navedeno, so potrebne dodatne zahteve, podane v dodatku C.
