This European Standard specifies the requirements and test procedures for durability, strength, security and function of Tilt&Turn, Tilt-First and Turn-Only hardware components or sets for windows and balcony doors in accordance with common application as shown in Annex A of EN 13126-1. For other applications refer to EN 12519.
By means of this European Standard, the user of recognized tested hardware can presume, that with correct usage, the Tilt&Turn, Tilt-First or Turn-Only hardware components or sets for windows and balcony-doors conforms to prescribed requirements.
NOTE   To maintain the guaranteed characteristics during the utilization period, it is necessary to comply with the manufacturer’s product information as well as the manufacturer’s maintenance and service instructions in a manner that can be proven.

Baubeschläge - Beschläge für Fenster und Fenstertüren - Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren - Teil 8: Drehkipp­, Kippdreh­ und Dreh­Beschläge

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an und Prüfverfahren für die Dauerfunktionstüchtigkeit,
Festigkeit, Schutzwirkung und Funktionsweise von Drehkipp-, Kippdreh- und Dreh-Beschlagteilen
oder -Beschlaggarnituren für Fenster und Fenstertüren entsprechend den in prEN 13126-1:2005, Anhang A,
dargestellten üblichen Anwendungen fest. Für weitere Anwendungen wird auf EN 12519 verwiesen.
Mit Hilfe dieser Norm kann der Anwender anerkannter, geprüfter Beschläge davon ausgehen, dass bei
sachgemäßem Gebrauch die Drehkipp-, Kippdreh- und Dreh-Beschlagteile oder -Beschlaggarnituren für
Fenster und Fenstertüren die vorgeschriebenen Anforderungen erfüllen.
ANMERKUNG Um die zugesicherten Eigenschaften über den Nutzungszeitraum aufrechterhalten zu können, ist es
unerlässlich, die Produktinformationen zu beachten sowie die Wartungs- und Pflegehinweise des Herstellers
nachvollziehbar einzuhalten.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences et procédures d'essai relatives à l'endurance, à la résistance, à la sécurité des biens et au fonctionnement des composants ou ensembles de ferrures d'oscillo-battant, de battant-oscillant et d'ouvrant pivotant pour fenêtres et portes-fenêtres, conformément aux applications courantes, comme indiqué dans l'Annexe A du prEN 13126-1. Pour les autres applications, il y a lieu de se référer à l'EN 12519.
Grâce à cette Norme européenne et sous réserve d'un usage approprié, l'utilisateur de la ferrure dûment soumise aux essais peut considérer que le composant ou l'ensemble de ferrures d'oscillo-battant, de battant-oscillant ou d'ouvrant pivotant pour fenêtres ou portes-fenêtres a satisfait aux conditions prescrites.
NOTE   Pour que les caractéristiques garanties subsistent pendant toute la période d'utilisation, il est indispensable de se conformer de façon démontrable aux informations produit du fabricant ainsi qu'à ses instructions de maintenance et de service.
