This European Standard specifies the characteristics of round flange hermetic receptacles, mounted by soldering, in the family of circular electrical connectors with triple start threaded coupling.
It applies to models in Table 3.
The contacts are unremovable and soldered termination.
For plugs and protective covers, see EN 3645-006, EN 3645-008, EN 3645-011, and EN 3645-012 respectively.
These connectors are derived from and interchangeable with model Y in specification MIL DTL 38999/25

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Eigenschaften von hermetischen festen Steckverbindern mit rundem Schweißflansch in der Familie der elektrischen Rundsteckverbinder mit dreigängiger Gewinde Schnell-kupp¬lung fest.
Sie gilt für die in Tabelle 3 angegebenen Bauformen.
Die Kontakte sind nicht lösbar und haben einen Lötanschluss.
Hinsichtlich der freien Steckverbinder und Schutzkappen siehe EN 3645 006, EN 3645 008, EN 3645 011 und EN 3645 012.
Diese Steckverbinder wurden von der Bauform Y in der Spezifikation MIL DTL 38999/25 abgeleitet und sind mit dieser austauschbar.
