Helmets for users of luges

This European Standard specifies the minimum performance requirements and test methods for helmets for users of luges in competition in ice channels.
Requirements and the corresponding methods of test, where appropriate, are given for the following:
-   construction including field of vision;
-   shock absorbing properties;
-   resistance to penetration;
-   retention system properties;
-   marking and information.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Mindestanforderungen an die Funktionstauglichkeit und für die Prüfung von Helmen für Benutzer von Rodelschlitten beim Wettkampf in Eiskanälen fest.
Anforderungen und die entsprechenden Prüfverfahren, falls gegeben, betreffen
¾ Konstruktion, einschließlich Sichtfeld;
¾ Stoßdämpfungseigenschaften;
¾ Durchdringungsfestigkeit;
¾ Eigenschaften der Trageeinrichtung;
Kennzeichnung und Information.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences minimales de performance et les méthodes d'essai relatives aux casques pour utilisateurs de luges lors de compétition sur des pistes de glace.
Le cas échéant, les exigences et les méthodes d'essai correspondantes, couvrent les aspects suivants :
¾ construction, y compris le champ de vision ;
¾ propriétés en matière d'absorption des chocs ;
¾ résistance à la pénétration ;
¾ propriétés du système de rétention ;
¾ marquage et information.
