Agglomerated stone - Test methods - Part 12: Determination of dimensional stability

This document specifies a test method to determine the dimensional stability, intended as the evaluation of a deformation, towards a bearing plane, by prolonged contact with water, of agglomerated stones tiles used for flooring and cladding in building.
The test is mainly performed to select a suitable adhesive for the laying down operations.

Dieses Dokument legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Maßhaltigkeit fest, die für die Bewertung der
infolge eines längeren Kontaktes mit Wasser bei Fliesen aus künstlich hergestellten Steinen für Bodenbeläge
und Bekleidungen in Gebäuden auftretenden Verformung in Richtung einer tragenden Ebene vorgesehen ist.
Die Prüfung dient hauptsächlich der Auswahl des geeigneten Klebstoffes für die Einbauvorgänge.

Le présent document spécifie une méthode d'essai pour déterminer la stabilité dimensionnelle envisagée comme l'évaluation d'une déformation par rapport à un plan d'appui, par contact prolongé avec de l'eau de carreaux en pierre agglomérée utilisés en revêtement de sol et de mur dans le bâtiment.
L'essai est réalisé principalement pour choisir un adhésif approprié aux opérations de pose.
