This European Standard is applicable to sodium dichloroisocyanurate, dihydrate used directly or used to prepare commercial formulations for disinfecting swimming pool water. It describes the characteristics of sodium dichloroisocyanurate, dehydrate and specifies the requirements and the corresponding test methods for sodium dichloroisocyanurate, dihydrate. It gives information on its use for treating swimming pool water. It also determines the rules relating to safe handling and use (see Annex B).

wird. Die Norm beschreibt die Eigenschaften von Trichlorisocyanursäure und legt die Anforderungen sowie
die entsprechenden Prüfverfahren für Trichlorisocyanursäure fest. Sie enthält Angaben zur Anwendung von
Trichlorisocyanursäure in der Schwimm- und Badebeckenwasseraufbereitung und legt Regeln für die sichere
Handhabung und Verwendung fest (siehe Anhang B).

La présente Norme européenne est applicable au dichloroisocyanurate de sodium, dihydraté utilisé directement ou
pour préparer des formulations commerciales pour désinfecter les eaux de piscines. Elle décrit les caractéristiques
du dichloroisocyanurate de sodium, dihydraté et spécifie aussi les exigences et les méthodes d'essai
correspondantes pour le dichloroisocyanurate de sodium, dihydraté. Elle donne des informations pour son
utilisation dans le traitement des eaux de piscines. Elle fixe également les règles relatives à la sécurité d’emploi et
de manipulation (voir Annexe B).
