La présente norme européenne définit les caractéristiques des lames massives pour planchers résineux comportant des rainures et languettes pour utilisation intérieure.
La présente norme comporte des spécifications relatives aux dimensions, aux classes et à la fourniture de lames à plancher.
Les spécifications des classes sont données pour les essences de bois suivantes : épicéa (Picea spp), sapin (Abies spp), pin sylvestre (Pinus sylvestris), mélèze (Larix spp), Douglas (Pseudotsuga menziesii). Pour les essences non mentionnées, il convient de définir les limites des singularités énumérées dans le Tableau 3.
Les produits spécifiés dans la présente norme sont fabriqués à partir de bois résineux naturel non traité ou pré-fini avec revêtement. La présente norme ne fournit aucune information sur le revêtement lui-même.
