This standard defines the flange mounting receptacle 2 and 4 modules, series 3 used in the family of rectangular electrical connectors. The plugs corresponding to those receptacles are defined in EN 4165-002.
The protective covers corresponding to those receptacles are defined in EN 4165-018.

Diese Norm legt feste Steckverbinder mit Montageflansch mit 2 und 4 Modulen, Serie 3, fest, die in der Familie der elektrischen Rechtecksteckverbinder verwendet werden. Die diesen festen Steckverbindern entsprechenden freien Steckverbinder sind in EN 4165 002 festgelegt.
Die zu diesen festen Steckverbindern passenden Schutzkappen sind in EN 4165 18 festgelegt.
