Metal beads and feature profiles for use with gypsum plasterboards - Definitions, requirements and test methods
This European Standard specifies the characteristics and performance of metal beads, metal beads combined with paper tape and metal feature profiles designed for use in systems made with gypsum plasterboards, gypsum boards with fibrous reinforcement and products from secondary processing complying with the ENs shown in Figure 2, intended to be used in building construction works. Metal beads and feature profiles, depending upon their material and type, can be featured without decoration, decorated or finished with jointing compounds to receive decoration.
It covers the following performance characteristics: reaction to fire and flexural strength (bending behaviour) to be measured according to the corresponding European test methods.
It provides for the evaluation of conformity of the product to this EN.
This European Standard covers also additional technical characteristics that are of importance for the use and acceptance of the product by the construction industry and the reference tests for these characteristics.
Hilfs- und Zusatzprofile aus Metall zur Verwendung mit Gipsplatten - Begriffe, Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren
Diese Europäische Norm legt die Eigenschaften und Leistungen von Hilfsprofilen, mit Papierstreifen
kombinierten Hilfsprofilen sowie Zusatzprofilen aus Metall fest, die für die Verwendung in mit Gipsplatten,
faserverstärkten Gipsplatten und Produkten aus der Weiterverarbeitung, entsprechend den im Bild 2 aufgelisteten
EN, hergestellten, für den Einbau in Hochbauten vorgesehenen Bauteilen, bestimmt sind. Hilfs- und
Zusatzprofile aus Metall können, abhängig von Material und Typ, sowohl mit als auch ohne Oberflächenendbehandlung
oder mit Fugenspachtel-Material eingespachtelt fertig zum Streichen oder Tapezieren, eingebaut
werden.
Diese Norm behandelt die folgenden Leistungsmerkmale: Brandverhalten und Biegezugfestigkeit (Biegeverhalten),
die mit den entsprechenden europäischen Prüfverfahren zu bestimmen sind.
Sie enthält Festlegungen zur Bewertung der Konformität der Produkte mit dieser EN.
Diese Europäische Norm behandelt auch zusätzliche technische Eigenschaften, die für die Anwendung und
Akzeptanz des Produktes durch die Bauwirtschaft wichtig sind und enthält die Referenzprüfverfahren für diese
Eigenschaften.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les caractéristiques et les performances requises pour les cornières métalliques, les cornières métalliques comportant des bandes de papier et les profilés métalliques destinés à être utilisés dans les ouvrages en plaques de plâtre, plaques de plâtre armées de fibres et produits de transformation secondaire, conformes aux normes européennes représentées en Figure 2, utilisés dans des ouvrages de construction. Selon leur matériau de composition et leur type, les cornières et les profilés métalliques peuvent être décorés ou non décorés ou revêtus par les enduits de joint avant décoration.
Elle couvre les caractéristiques de performance suivantes : réaction au feu et résistance à la flexion (comportement en flexion) mesurées conformément aux méthodes d’essai européennes correspondantes.
La présente Norme européenne traite de l’évaluation de la conformité des produits à cette norme.
Elle couvre également les caractéristiques techniques supplémentaires qui sont importantes en vue de l’utilisation et de l’acceptation du produit par l’industrie du bâtiment ainsi que les essais de référence de ces caractéristiques.

Ta evropski standard določa lastnosti in delovanje pomožnih kovinskih profilov, pomožnih kovinskih profilov združenih s papirnatim trakom in dodatnih profilov, načrtovanih za uporabo v sistemih, izdelanih iz mavčnih plošč, mavčnih vlaknenih plošč in proizvodov drugotne obdelave, ki so v skladu z EN, prikazanimi na Sliki 2, in namenjeni za uporabo pri gradbenih delih. Pomožni in dodatni profili, odvisno od njihovih materialov in tipov, so lahko izdelani brez okrasja, so okrašeni ali zaključeni s priležnimi sestavnimi deli za sprejem okrasja. Zajema naslednje lastnosti delovanja: odziv na ogenj in upogibno trdnost (obnašanje upogibanja), ki se meri v skladu z odgovarjajočimi evropskimi preskusnimi metodami. Zagotavlja oceno skladnosti proizvoda s tem EN. Ta evropski standard prav tako zajema dodatne tehnične lastnosti, ki so pomembne za uporabo in sprejemanje proizvoda v gradbeni industriji, ter referenčne preskuse teh lastnosti.
