This document specifies the requirements for blown and injected loose-fill mineral wool products for in situ installation in lofts, masonry cavity walls and frame constructions.
This document is a specification for the insulation products before installation. It describes the product characteristics and includes procedures for testing, marking and labelling.
This document does not specify the required level of a given property to be achieved by a product to demonstrate fitness for purpose in a particular application. The levels required for a given application are to be found in regulations or non-conflicting standards.
NOTE To avoid water penetration in masonry walls special tests adjusted to local climate might be needed.
This document does not cover factory made mineral wool (MW) insulation products or in situ products intended to be used for the insulation of building equipment and industrial installations.
Products with a declared thermal resistance lower than 0,25 m2·K/W or a declared thermal conductivity greater than 0,060 W/(m·K) at 10 °C are not covered by this document.
This document does not cover products intended for airborne sound insulation and for acoustic absorption applications.
Wärmedämmstoffe für Gebäude - An der Verwendungsstelle hergestellte Wärmedämmung aus Mineralwolle (MW) - Teil 1: Spezifikation für Schüttdämmstoffe vor dem Einbau
Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an der Verwendungsstelle einzubringende lose Einblas- und Einspritzdämmstoffe aus Mineralwolle zur Dämmung von Dachgeschossen sowie zur Kerndämmung in zweischaligem Mauerwerk und Rahmenkonstruktionen fest.
Diese Europäische Norm ist eine Spezifikation für die Dämmstoffe vor dem Einbau. Sie beschreibt die Produktmerkmale und enthält Verfahren für die Prüfung, Kennzeichnung und Etikettierung.
Dieses Dokument legt keine Anforderungsstufen für eine bestimmte Eigenschaft fest, die ein Produkt erreichen muss, um für einen bestimmten Anwendungsfall gebrauchstauglich zu sein. Derartige Anforderungsstufen für einen bestimmten Anwendungsfall sind Regelwerken oder nicht entgegenstehenden Normen zu entnehmen.
ANMERKUNG Zur Vermeidung des Eindringens von Wasser ins Mauerwerk können gegebenenfalls spezielle Prüfungen in Anpassung an die örtlichen klimatischen Bedingungen erforderlich sein.
Dieses Dokument deckt keine werkmäßig hergestellten Dämmstoffe aus Mineralwolle (MW) oder an der Verwendungsstelle hergestellten Produkte ab, die für die Dämmung von Gebäudeausrüstung und betriebstechnischen Anlagen vorgesehen sind.
Produkte mit einem Nennwert des Wärmedurchlasswiderstands unter 0,25 m2 · K/W oder einem Nennwert der Wärmeleitfähigkeit von mehr als 0,060 W/(m · K) bei 10 °C werden von diesem Dokument nicht abgedeckt.
Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für Produkte für die Anwendung zur Luftschalldämmung und Schallabsorption.

Le présent document est une spécification pour les produits isolants avant installation. Il décrit les caractéristiques du produit et comprend des modes opératoires d’essai, de marquage et d’étiquetage.
Le présent document ne spécifie pas le niveau exigé d’une propriété donnée devant être atteint par un produit pour en démontrer l’aptitude à l’emploi dans une application particulière. Les niveaux exigés pour une application donnée figurent dans les réglementations ou les normes non contradictoires.
NOTE Pour éviter l’infiltration de l’eau dans les murs en maçonnerie, des essais spécifiques adaptés au climat local peuvent être nécessaires.

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve za pihane in vbrizgane razsute proizvode iz mineralne volne, oblikovane na mestu vgradnje pri podstrešjih, zidovih z votlino in ogrodnih strukturah.
Ta evropski standard je specifikacija za izolacijske proizvode pred vgradnjo. Opisuje lastnosti proizvodov ter zajema postopke za preskušanje, označevanje in etiketiranje.
Ta dokument ne določa zahtevane ravni določene lastnosti, ki jo mora izdelek doseči, da se dokaže njegova primernost za predvideni namen pri posameznem načinu uporabe. Zahtevane ravni za posamezno uporabo so določene v uredbah ali standardih, ki niso v nasprotju s tem standardom.
