ISO 13078:2013 specifies a test method for the calibration of dental furnaces that are suitable for the heat treatment of silica-based dental ceramic restorations in the temperature range between 600 °C and 1 050 °C.

Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Kalibrierung von Brennöfen fest, die zur Wärmebehandlung von silikathaltigen dentalkeramischen Restaurationen im Temperaturbereich zwischen 600 °C und 1 050 °C geeignet sind. Diese Internationale Norm gilt nicht für Brennöfen, die zum Sintern von Zirkondioxidgerüsten (im Temperaturbereich von 1350 °C oder höher vorgesehen sind.

Ta mednarodni standard ne zajema peči, namenjenih za sintiranje okvirjev iz cirkonijevega oksida (v razponu temperature 1350 °C ali več).

collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 55 “Dentistry” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.

text or by endorsement, at the latest by August 2013, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by August 2013.
