Prevailing torque type hexagon thin nuts (with non-metallic insert) (ISO 10511:1997)

IEC 60695-10-2:2014-02(en-fr) specifies the ball pressure test as a method for evaluating the softening temperature and accelerated material flow under load of polymeric materials and parts of end products in their ability to resist abnormal heat. It is applicable to the materials used in electrotechnical equipment, subassemblies and components, and to solid electrical insulating materials except ceramics.The Ball Pressure test method is not appropriate for certain elastomers, foamed materials, and other materials that tend to be soft at room temperature. Product Committees are encouraged to evaluate these materials using other methods such as IEC 60695-10-3.
This third edition cancels and replaces the second edition of IEC 60695-10-2 published in 2003. It constitutes a technical revision.
The main changes with respect to the previous edition are as follows:
- The addition of an introduction introduces the user to the basic guidance documents published by TC 89,
- Addition of a reference to IEC Guide 104 and ISO/IEC Guide 51 in the Scope,
- Additional relevant Terms and Definitions in new Clause 3,
- 5.2: Additional requirements to the test specimen support at the suggestion of IECEE-CTL to improve reproducibility,
- 5.3: Clarification of heating oven requirements at the suggestion of IECEE-CTL to improve reproducibility,
- 5.4: Specification of minimum resolution consistent with method requirements for optical measurement instrument,
- New Test Procedure in Clauses 6 and 8 which introduces separate methods for End Product proof testing (Method A) and material performance testing (Method B) and
- Updated Clause 11 Test Report to be consistent with other IEC 60695 documents.
This standard has the status of a basic safety publication in accordance with IEC Guide 104 and ISO/IEC Guide 51.

Sechskantmuttern mit Klemmteil niedrige Form (mit nichtmetallischem Einsatz) (ISO 10511:1997)

Diese Internationale Norm beschreibt die Eigenschaften von niedrigen Sechskantmuttern mit Klemmteil, mit nichtmetallischem Einsatz, und Gewinde von M3 bis M36, in Produktklasse A für Gewinde bis M 16 und Produktklasse B für Gewinde ü~ber M 16 und Festigkeitsklassen 04 und 05. Anmerkung: Die Maße der Muttern entsprechen den in ISO 4035 angegebenen Maßen plus Klemmteil. Werden in besonderen Fällen andere Festlegungen benötigt, so sind diese den bestehenden Internationalen Normen zu entnehmen, z.B. ISO 261, ISO 965-2, ISO 2320, ISO 4759-1.

La présente Norme internationale prescrit les caractéristiques des écrous hexagonaux bas autofreinés (à anneau non métallique) de filetage M3 à M36 inclus, de grade A pour filetages < M16 et de grade B pour filetages > M16, et de classes de qualité 04 et 05.
NOTE -- Les dimensions des écrous sont conformes à celles données dans l'ISO 4035 plus le système de freinage. Si d'autres spécifications sont requises, il est recommandé de les choisir dans les Normes internationales existantes, par exemple ISO 261, ISO 965-2, ISO 2320 et ISO 4759-1.

Prevailing torque type hexagon thin nuts (with

1 Scope
This International Standard specifies the characteristics of prevailing torque type hexagon thin nuts (with
non-metallic insert) with thread from M3 up to and including M36, in product grade A for threads up to
and including M16 and product grade B for threads above M16, and with property classes 04 and 05.
NOTE —  The dimensions of the nuts correspond to those given in ISO 4035 plus prevailing torque feature.
If other specifications are required, they should be selected from existing International Standards, for example
ISO 261, ISO 965-2, ISO 2320 and ISO 4759-1.
