Methods of test for ancillary components for masonry - Part 5: Determination of tensile and compressive load capacity and load displacement characteristics of wall ties (couplet test)

This European Standard specifies the couplet method for determining the tensile and compressive load capacity and load displacement characteristics of wall ties embedded in mortar joints. The test is intended for ties used for connecting together two leaves of masonry and for the mortar-bedded end of ties for connecting masonry leaves to other structures.

Prüfverfahren für Ergänzungsbauteile für Mauerwerk - Teil 5: Bestimmung der Zug- und Drucktragfähigkeit sowie der Steifigkeit von Mauerankern (Steinpaar-Prüfung)

Diese Europäische Norm legt das Steinpaar-Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Zug- und Drucktragfähigkeit sowie der Lastverschiebungseigenschaften von in Mörtelfugen eingebetteten Mauerankern fest. Die Prüfung ist vorgesehen für Anker, die zur Verbindung von zwei Mauerwerksschalen verwendet werden, und für das in Mörtel eingebettete Ende von Ankern zur Verbindung von Mauerwerksschalen mit anderen Konstruktionen.

La présente Norme européenne décrit une méthode d'essai permettant de déterminer la charge admissible à la traction et à la compression et les caractéristiques effort-déformation des attaches murales ancrées dans des joints de mortier. L'essai est conçu pour des attaches prévues pour relier deux parois de maçonnerie ou deux murs à angles droits. Il s'applique également à des attaches utilisées pour relier les bords de murs de remplissage aux cadres ou aux ossatures qui les entourent.

Ta evropski standard določa metodo z dvema zidakoma za ugotavljanje natezne in tlačne nosilnosti ter lastnosti sila-pomik zidnih veznih stremen v malti med dvema zidakoma. Preskus je namenjen za vezna stremena, ki se uporabljajo za povezavo dveh slojev zidovine, in za konce veznih stremen v malti za povezavo slojev zidovine z drugimi strukturami.
