Masonry cement - Part 2: Test methods

This European Standard describes reference and alternative test methods to be used when testing masonry cements to assess their conformity to EN 413-1. It gives the tests on fresh mortar for consistence, water retention and air content.
In the event of a dispute, only the reference methods are used.

Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt Referenz- und Alternativprüfverfahren, die für die Prüfung von Putz- und
Mauerbinder anzuwenden sind, um ihre Übereinstimmung mit EN 413-1 zu bewerten. Sie enthält die Prüfverfahren
für die Konsistenz, das Wasserrückhaltevermögen und den Luftgehalt von Frischmörtel.
Im Streitfall sind nur die Referenzverfahren anzuwenden.

Le présent document décrit les méthodes d’essai de référence ou les variantes pour les ciments à maçonner, qui doivent être utilisées pour évaluer leur conformité à l’EN 413-1. Il indique les méthodes d’essai sur mortier frais pour la consistance, la rétention d’eau et la teneur en air.
En cas de litige, seules les méthodes de référence sont utilisées.
