This European Standard covers the evaluation of conformity and the factory production control of
- EN ISO 12543-2: Laminated safety glass;
- EN ISO 12543-3: Laminated glass;
inclusive laminated (safety) glass with fire resistant properties.
For glass products with electrical wiring or connections for e.g. alarm or heating purposes, this standard covers only wiring subject for electrical potential difference to earth less than 50 V a.c. or less than 75 V d.c.

Diese Europäische Norm umfasst die Konformitätsbewertung und die werkseigene Produktionskontrolle von
Verbundglas und Verbund-Sicherheitsglas zur Anwendung im Bauwesen.
ANMERKUNG 1 Dies beinhaltet ebenfalls Anforderungen, die Gegenstand gesetzlicher Bestimmungen sind.
ANMERKUNG 2 Für Glaserzeugnisse mit elektrischer Verkabelung oder Anschlüssen, wie z. B. Alarm- oder
Heizungsanwendungen, können andere Richtlinien, z. B. die Niederspannungsrichtlinie, gelten.

La présente Norme européenne couvre l'évaluation de la conformité et le contrôle de la production en usine pour
¾ EN ISO 12543-2 : Verre feuilleté de sécurité ;
¾ EN ISO 12543-3 : Verre feuilleté ;
y compris le verre (de sécurité) feuilleté présentant des caractéristiques de résistance au feu.
Pour les produits verriers équipés d'un câblage ou de branchements électriques pour des besoins d'alarme ou de chauffage par exemple, la présente norme couvre uniquement les éléments de câblage prévus pour une différence de potentiel électrique à la terre inférieure à 50 V c.a. ou inférieure à 75 V c.c.
