Electricity metering data exchange - The DLMS/COSEM suite - Part 6-2: COSEM interface classes

IEC 62056-6-2:2013 specifies a model of a meter as it is seen through its communication interface(s). Generic building blocks are defined using object-oriented methods, in the form of interface classes to model meters from simple up to very complex functionality.

The text of document 13/1525/FDIS, future edition 1 of IEC 62056-6-2, prepared by IEC/TC 13 "Electrical
energy measurement, tariff- and load control" was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and
approved by CENELEC as EN 62056-6-2:2013.
The following dates are fixed:

EN 62056-6-2:2013 cancels and replaces EN 62056-62 published in 2007. It constitutes a technical
revision.

The significant technical changes with respect to EN 62056-62 are listed in Annex A.
