The scope of this document is to define performance requirements of Large Power Transformers in compliance with EN 50708-1-1:2020. NOTE This document covers the transformers under Commission Regulation (EU) No 548/2014 of 21 May 2014 and its amendment No 2019/1783 of 1 October 2019, gives additional specific guidance for single phase transformers, autotransformers, multi winding transformers and for transformers with OD and OF cooling systems, necessary for the correct application of energy efficiency requirements to these categories of transformers.

Le domaine d’application du présent document consiste à définir les exigences de performances des transformateurs de grande puissance selon l’EN 50708-1-1:2020. NOTE Le présent document couvre les transformateurs relevant du règlement (UE) N° 548/2014 de la Commission du 21 mai 2014 et son amendement N° 2019/1783 du 1er octobre 2019, et donne des recommandations spécifiques supplémentaires pour les transformateurs monophasés, les autotransformateurs, les transformateurs à plusieurs enroulements et pour les transformateurs ayant des systèmes de refroidissement OD ("Oil-Directed", à circulation dirigée d’huile) et OF ("Oil-Forced", à circulation forcée d’huile), nécessaires à la bonne application des exigences en matière de rendement en énergie de ces catégories de transformateurs.
