IEC 61076-2-104:2014 describes circular connectors M8 screw-locking or with nominal diameter 8 mm snap-locking, typically used for industrial process measurement and control. These connectors consist of fixed and free connectors either rewireable or non-rewireable. Male connectors have round contacts of diameter 0,6 mm, diameter 0,7 mm and diameter 1,0 mm. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition published in 2008. This edition constitutes a technical revision. The main technical changes with regard to the previous edition are as follows:
- three new type ways have been added to the A-coding, including new gauges and contact diameters and

L'IEC 61076-2-104:2014 décrit les connecteurs circulaires M8 à vis ou à encliquetage de 8 mm de diamètre nominal, généralement utilisés pour les mesures et les commandes dans les processus industriels. Ces connecteurs se composent d'embases et de fiches, démontables ou non. Les connecteurs mâles possèdent des contacts arrondis, de diamètre de 0,6 mm, de diamètre de 0,7 mm et de diamètre de 1,0 mm. Cette deuxième édition annule et remplace la première édition parue en 2008. Cette édition constitue une révision technique. Les principales modifications techniques par rapport à l'édition précédente sont:
- trois nouveaux types de voies ont été ajoutés au codage-A, y compris de nouveaux calibres et diamètres de contact et

IEC 61076-2-012:2020 specifies circular connectors with an inner push‑pull locking mechanism of a size derived from and thus being compatible with M12 screw‑locking connectors and with mating interfaces according to IEC 61076‑2‑101, IEC 61076‑2‑109, IEC 61076‑2‑111 and IEC 61076‑2‑113.
A female fixed connector with inner push-pull locking according to this document is intermateable with a correspondingly coded male free connector with M12 screw-locking according to IEC 61076-2-101, IEC 61076-2-109, IEC 61076-2-111 or IEC 61076-2-113.
This document covers both:
a) power connectors with current ratings up to 16 A and voltage ratings up to 630 V, typically used for power supply of electrical equipment used in industrial premises, and
b) connectors for data and signal transmission with frequencies up to 500 MHz.
These connectors consist of both fixed and free connectors, either rewirable or non‑rewirable, with M12 inner push‑pull locking as explained above. Male connectors have round contacts from Ø0,6 mm up to Ø1,5 mm.
This document covers various types of connectors identified by their "codings" with different contact arrangement, not mutually interchangeable.
The design of the inner push‑pull mechanism prevents the unintended mating of the male inner push‑pull free connector with the female connector with M12 screw‑locking even for identical coding.
Some styles of free connectors with female contacts covered in this document are equipped with both inner and outer push-pull locking for intermateability also with correspondingly coded male fixed or free connectors according to IEC 61076-2-010.

Solderless connections - Part 5: Press-in connections - General requirements, test methods and practical guidance

IEC 60352-5:2020 is applicable to solderless press-in connections for use in electrical and electronic equipment and components.
The press-in connection consists of a termination having a suitable press-in zone which is inserted into a hole of a board.
Information on materials and data from industrial experience is included in addition to the test procedures to provide electrically stable connections under specified environmental conditions.
The object of this document is to determine the suitability of press-in connections under mechanical, electrical and atmospheric conditions as specified by the manufacturer of the press-in termination and to provide a means of comparing test results when the tools used to make the connections are of different designs or manufacture.
This fifth edition cancels and replaces the fourth edition published in 2012. This edition constitutes a technical revision.
This edition includes the following significant changes with respect to the previous edition:
a) revising the scope by removing the wording "… telecommunication equipment and in electronic devices employing similar techniques" and replacing it by "… electrical and electronic equipment and components" in the first paragraph;
b) adding terms and definitions for 'board', 'hole' and 'metal board' to recognize that press-in terminations are being used in many non-printed board materials;
c) editorial changes to clarify the difference between the two test schedules for qualification and application;
d) modification of upper limit of copper thickness of the plated-through-hole to reflect actual market trends and manufacturing practices;
e) removal of bending test, as this test is very specific for applications of press-in technology no longer common;
f) adding graphs to document the press-in and push-out force, since this is common testing practice and provides further insight into mechanical performance of the contact zone;
g) reducing the number of test specimens required, since in previous testing scheme a lot of test samples were discarded;
h) new wording in 4.5 for cracked and bent terminations;
i) added Figure 7b to show V and A connection locations when the press-in termination does not protrude through the bottom side of the board.

IEC 60512-28-100:2019 is available as IEC 60512-28-100:2019 RLV which contains the International Standard and its Redline version, showing all changes of the technical content compared to the previous edition.
IEC 60512-28-100:2019 specifies the test methods for signal integrity and transmission performance for connectors specified in respective parts of IEC 60603-7, IEC 61076-1, IEC 61076-2, and IEC 61076-3 standards for connecting hardware applications up to 2 000 MHz. It is also suitable for testing lower frequency connectors, however, the test methodology specified in the detail specification for any given connector remains the reference conformance test for that connector. The above list of connector series of standards does not preclude referencing this document in other connector manufacturer’s specifications or published standards. Test procedures provided herein are:
- insertion loss, test 28a;
- return loss, test 28b;
- near-end crosstalk (NEXT) test 28c;
- far-end crosstalk (FEXT), test 28d;
- transverse conversion loss (TCL), test 28f;
- transverse conversion transfer loss (TCTL), test 28g.
Other test procedures referenced herein are:
- transfer impedance (ZT), see IEC 60512-26-100, test 26e.

IEC 61076-3-123:2019. covers hybrid rectangular connectors with a 3 poles 16 A electric portion for power supply and a duplex fibre optic connector type LC portion for data transmission.
These connectors consist of fixed and free connectors, either rewirable or non-rewirable (for both portions) and use the rectangular push-pull housing described in IEC 61076-3-117 with IP65/IP67 degree of protection, for harsh applications.
The mating dimensions of such housings allow fulfilling the performance class Category I according to IEC 61753-1-3 in regards to the fibre optic portion of the connector with the exception of the operating temperature range which is –25 °C/+70 °C.
The electric portion may have different rated insulation voltages. Male connectors have 3 electric round contacts Ø1,6 mm, with 16 A rated current.
The fibre optic portion provides data transmission by using the common mating configurations for all variants of the type LC duplex fibre optic connectors as defined in IEC 61754-20, for dedicated fibre types and fibre termination technology covered therein.
The different codings provided by this document prevent the mating of accordingly coded male or female connectors to any other similarly sized interfaces covered by other standards and the cross-mating between the different codings provided by this document.
