for electronic equipment.
The text of this amendment is based on the following documents:

The committee has decided that the contents of this amendment and the base publication will
remain unchanged until the maintenance result date indicated on the IEC web site under

3.2.2 Tests
Add, after Notes 1 to 3 the following new Note 4:
NOTE 4 The pulse current test and the combination pulse test are considered to be alternative.
The detail specification shall indicate which test is performed. The combination pulse test should be performed in
accordance with Annex A.
