Mechanical vibration and shock — Cold provocation tests for the assessment of peripheral vascular function — Part 2: Measurement and evaluation of finger systolic blood pressure

ISO 14835-2:2005 specifies the methods for measuring finger systolic blood pressures (FSBP) with local cold provocation, the procedures for conducting the measurements, and how to report the measurement results. The methods in ISO 14835-2:2005 are designed to assist in the collection of data for a quantitative evaluation of the vascular response to cold provocation, and to enable specification of normative data. The measurement of FSBP with local cold provocation can be used for the assessment of peripheral vascular function. ISO 14835-2:2005 is applicable to the assessment of vascular function in persons exposed to hand-transmitted vibration.

L'ISO 14835-2:2005 spécifie: les méthodes de mesurage de la pression artérielle systolique digitale (PASD) avec une provocation à froid locale ; les modes opératoires de mesurage ; et la façon de consigner les résultats de mesure. Les méthodes spécifiées dans l'ISO 14835-2:2005 sont conçues pour faciliter la collecte de données en vue d'une évaluation quantitative de la réaction vasculaire à une provocation à froid et permettre la spécification de données normatives. Le mesurage de la PASD avec une provocation à froid locale peut être utilisé pour l'évaluation de la fonction vasculaire périphérique. L'ISO 14835-2:2005 s'applique à l'évaluation de la fonction vasculaire chez des personnes exposées à des vibrations transmises à la main.
