Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies
(ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO
technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been
established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and
non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the
International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization.
International Standards are drafted in accordance with the rules given in the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2.
The main task of technical committees is to prepare International Standards. Draft International Standards
adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an
International Standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the member bodies casting a vote.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent

D.1 Tables D.1 and D.2 are based on a round-robin test involving four laboratories and one material. All of
the test samples were produced and distributed by one source. Each “test result” was the average of 10
individual determinations. Each laboratory obtained and reported 10 test results for each material.
D.2 Tables D.3 and D.4 are based on a round-robin test involving three laboratories and one mat

Avant-propos
L’ISO (Organisation internationale de normalisation) est une fédération mondiale d’organismes nationaux de
normalisation (comités membres de l’ISO). L’élaboration des Normes internationales est en général confiée aux
comités techniques de l’ISO. Chaque comité membre intéressé par une étude a le droit de faire partie du comité
technique créé à cet effet. Les organisations internationales, gouvernementales et non gouvernementales,
en liaison avec l’ISO participent également aux travaux. L’ISO collabore étroitement avec la Commission
électrotechnique internationale (CEI) en ce qui concerne la normalisation électrotechnique.

D.1  Les Tableaux D.1 et D.2 reposent sur un essai interlaboratoires effectué par quatre laboratoires sur un
matériau. Toutes les éprouvettes ont été produites et diffusées par une seule source. Chaque «résultat d’essai»
est la moyenne de 10 déterminations individuelles. Chaque laboratoire a obtenu et consigné 10 résultats d’essai
