the Karl Fischer method, was drawn up by Technical Committee ISO/TC 47, Chemistry, the Secretariat of which
is held by the Ente Nazionale Italian0 di Unificazione (UNI).
Work on this question led to the adoption of Draft IS0 Recommendation No. 1849, which was circulated
to ail the IS0 Member Bodies for enquiry in April 1969. It.was approved, subject to a few modifications of an
editorial nature, by the foilowing Member Bodies :

La Recommandation ISO/R 1849, Alcools supérieurs à usage industriel - Dosage de l’eau par la méthode
de Karl Fischer, a été élaborée par le Comité Technique ISO/TC 47, Chimie, dont le Secrétariat est assuré par
l’Ente Nazionale Italian0 di Unificazione (UNI).
Les travaux relatifs à cette question aboutirent à l’adoption du Projet de Recommandation IS0 No 1849
qui fut soumis, en avril 1969, à l’enquête de tous les Comités Membres de I’ISO. I1 fut approuvé, sous réserve
de quelques niodifications d’ordre rédactionnel, par les ComiteS Membres suivants :
