This part of ISO 11127 specifies a method for the sampling of non-metallic blast-cleaning abrasives from consignments and for the subdivision of the sample into quantities suitable for undertaking the appropriate test methods specified in other parts of ISO 11127.

Les types d'abrasifs non métalliques et les prescriptions relatives à chacun figurent dans les différentes parties de l'ISO 11126. Les séries des normes ISO 11126 et ISO 11127 constituent une série cohérente de normes internationales sur les abrasifs non métalliques destinés à la préparation par projection. Des informations sur toutes les parties des deux séries sont données dans l'annexe B. La présente partie de l'ISO 11127 prescrit une méthode d'échantillonnage des abrasifs non métalliques destinés à la préparation par projection, dans des livraisons, et de la subdivision de l'échantillon en quantités appropriées permettant d'appliquer les méthodes d'essai prescrites dans les autres parties de l'ISO 11127.
