Agricultural and forestry machinery - Reel machines for irrigation - Safety

This standard specifies safety requirements and their verification for the design and construction of reel machines for irrigation including self-propelled machines.  It describes methods for elimination or reduction of risks which need specific requirements for reel machines for irrigation.  In addition, it specifies the type of information on safe working practices to be provided by the manufacturer.  The list of significant hazards dealt with in this standard is given in annex A. Annex A also indicates the hazards which have not been dealt with.  Environmental aspects have not been considered in this standard.  This standard applies primarily to machines which are manufactured after the date of issue of the standard.

Diese Norm enthält sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen und deren Überprüfung für die Gestaltung und Konstruktion von Beregnungsmaschinen mit Schlauchtrommel einschließlich der selbst-fahrenden Maschinen.  Sie beschreibt Maßnahmen zur Vermeidung oder Verminderung von Gefährdungen, die für die spezifischen Anforderungen an Beregnungsmaschinen mit Schlauchtrommel benötigt werden.  Außerdem bestimmt sie Informationen über sicheres Arbeiten, die vom Hersteller zur Verfügung zu stellen sind.

La présente norme détermine les prescriptions de sécurité et les vérifications pour la conception et la construction des enrouleurs d'irrigation y compris les machines automotrices. Elle décrit les méthodes pour éliminer ou réduire les risques nécessitant des prescriptions spécifiques aux enrouleurs d'irrigation. En outre, elle spécifie le type d'informations que le fabricant doit donner sur les pratiques d'utilisation sure.
