This European Prestandard specifies methods of analysis using flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) and inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry (ICP-ES) for the determination of element contents in lead and lead alloys for the ranges given in Table 1.These methods are intended as the definitive methods in case of dispute for the determination of elements at low content in lead. They are also recommended for the analysis of Certified Reference Materials (CRM) and Reference Materials (RM) which are used in analysis according to ENV 12908.

Dieser Europäische Vornorm legt ein flammen-atomabsorptionsspektrometrisches Verfahren (FAAS) und ein emissionsspektrometrisches Verfahren mit induktiv gekoppeltem Plasma (ICP OES) für die Bestimmung der Elementgehalte in Blei und Bleilegierungen fest, deren Bereiche in Tabelle 1 gegeben sind. Diese Methoden sind vorgesehen als Schiedsverfahren im Falle von Streitigkeiten für die Bestimmung von Elementen in niedrigen Konzentrationen in Blei. Sie sind ebenfalls empfohlen für die Analyse von zertifizierten
Referenzmaterialien (ZRM) und Referenzmaterialien (RM), welche in der Analytik entsprechend ENV 12908 eingesetzt werden.

La présente Prénorme européenne spécifie des méthodes d'analyse utilisant la spectrométrie d'absorption atomique par flamme (FAAS) et la spectrométrie d'émission atomique a plasma inductif couplé (ICP-ES) pour le dosage d'éléments dans le plomb et les alliages de plomb pour les gammes de concentration données dans le Tableau 1. Ces méthodes sont conçues pour etre les méthodes a utiliser en cas de litige pour le dosage des éléments a faible teneur dans le plomb. Elles sont aussi recommandées pour l'analyse des Matériaux de référence certifiés (MRC) et des Matériaux de référence (MR) utilisés en analyse conformément a l'ENV 12908.
