Textile conveyor belts - Full thickness tensile strength, elongation at break and elongation at the reference load - Test method (ISO 283:2015)

This International Standard specifies a test method for the determination of the full thickness tensile
strength in the longitudinal direction and the elongation at the reference force and breaking point
of conveyor belts having a textile carcass. The method can also be used for the determination of full
thickness tensile strength in the transverse direction and the elongation at the breaking point, for use
when the manufacturer is requested by the purchaser to state values for these properties.
This International Standard is not suitable or valid for light conveyor belts as described in ISO 21183-1.

Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der breitenbezogenen Bruchkraft und der Dehnung in Längsrichtung von Textilfördergurten bei voller Gurtdicke fest. Außerdem legt sie das Verfahren zur Bestimmung der breitenbezogenen Bruchkraft in Querrichtung und die Bruchdehnung in Längsrichtung fest, für den Fall, dass der Käufer den Hersteller auffordert, Werte für den Gebrauch vorzulegen.
Diese Internationale Norm ist nicht gültig oder anwendbar auf die in ISO 21183-1 beschriebenen leichten Fördergurte.

ISO 283:2015 spécifie une méthode d'essai pour déterminer la résistance à la traction dans le sens longitudinal, l'allongement sous force de référence et le point de rupture des courroies transporteuses à carcasse textile en pleine épaisseur. La méthode peut également être utilisée pour la détermination de la résistance à la traction dans le sens transversal et de l'allongement au point de rupture en pleine épaisseur, utilisables lorsque l'acheteur demande au fabricant de déclarer les valeurs de ces propriétés.
ISO 283:2015 n'est pas applicable ou valable pour les courroies transporteuses légères décrites dans l'ISO 21183‑1.

Ta mednarodni standard določa metodo preskušanja za določanje natezne trdnosti pri polni debelini po vzdolžni osi in raztezka pri referenčni sili ter točke preloma trakov tračnih transporterjev s trupom iz tekstila. To metodo je mogoče uporabiti tudi za določanje natezne moči pri polni debelini v transverzalni smeri ter raztezka pri točki preloma, za uporabo v primerih, kjer kupec od proizvajalca zahteva navedbe vrednosti za te lastnosti. Ta mednarodni standard se ne uporablja oziroma ni veljaven za lahke trakove tračnih transporterjev iz standarda ISO 21183-1.

belts (including veebelts)” in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 188 “Conveyor belts” the

secretariat of which is held by SNV.

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an

identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2016, and conflicting national standards shall be

withdrawn at the latest by May 2016.
