This EN 50152-3-3 is applicable to new voltage transformers which are
   for indoor or outdoor fixed installations in tractions systems, and
   operated with an a.c. line voltage and frequency as specified in EN 50163.
NOTE 1   EN 50163 specifies the a.c. traction systems 15 kV 16,7 Hz and 25 kV 50 Hz.
As rails of a.c. traction systems are connected to earth and included in the return current path all phase to earth voltages will be within the tolerances as specified in EN 50163. Nevertheless phase to phase voltages may be higher e.g. in autotransformer systems.
Voltage transformers are mainly used with
   measurement instruments,
   protective devices.
This EN 50152-3-3 shall also be applied to voltage transformers other than inductive types as far as reasonably possible. Requirements of this EN 50152-3-3 prevail.
NOTE 2   Combined current and voltage transformers also capacitive voltage transformers are typically not used in fixed installations.

EN 50152-3-3 gilt für neue Spannungswandler, die für
–   ortsfeste Innenraum- oder Freiluftanlagen in Bahnenergieversorgungssystem ausgelegt sind und
–   mit einer Fahrleitungswechselspannung und -frequenz entsprechend der EN 50163 betrieben werden.
ANMERKUNG 1   EN 50163 benennt für Bahnen die Wechselspannungssysteme 15 kV 16,7 Hz und 25 kV 50 Hz.
Bei Wechselspannungsbahnen sind die Gleise mit dem Erdpotential verbunden und Teil des Rückstrom¬kreises. Alle Leiter-Erde-Spannungen sind somit innerhalb der in EN 50163 festgelegten zulässigen Abweichungen. Leiter-Leiter-Spannungen sind in manchen Fällen trotzdem höher, z. B. in Autotransformator-Systemen.
Spannungswandler werden hauptsächlich verwendet mit:
–   Messgeräte,
–   Schutzeinrichtungen.
EN 50152-3-3 gilt auch für Spannungswandler mit vom induktiven Messverfahren abweichender Bauart, soweit dies sinnvoll möglich ist. Die Anforderungen dieser EN 50152-3-3 haben Vorrang.
ANMERKUNG 2   Kombinierte Strom- und Spannungswandler als auch kapazitive Spannungswandler werden üblicherweise nicht in ortsfesten Anlagen verwendet.

La présente norme EN 50152-3-3 s’applique aux nouveaux transformateurs de tension qui sont - destinés aux installations fixes intérieures ou extérieures dans les systèmes de traction, et - exploités à la tension et à la fréquence d’une ligne à courant alternatif, comme spécifié dans l’EN 50163. NOTE 1 L’EN 50163 spécifie les réseaux de traction à courant alternatif 15 kV 16,7 Hz et 25 kV 50 Hz. NOTE 2 Dans la mesure où les rails des systèmes de traction à courant alternatif sont généralement reliés à la terre et inclus dans le chemin du courant de retour, toutes les tensions phase-terre sont soumises aux limites indiquées dans l’EN 50163. Néanmoins, les tensions entre conducteurs sont parfois plus élevées dans les systèmes d’autotransformateurs, par exemple. Les transformateurs de tension sont principalement utilisés avec - des appareils de mesure, - des dispositifs de protection. Ta standard EN 50152-3-3 se uporablja za nove napetostne transformatorje, ki se
uporabljajo za notranje ali zunanje nameščene naprave v vlečnih sistemih in
uporabljajo z izmenično napetostjo in frekvenco, kot je navedeno v standardu EN 50163.
OPOMBA 1   Standard EN 50163 določa vlečne sisteme z izmenično napetostjo 15 kV pri 16,7 Hz in 25 kV pri 50 Hz.
Ker so tiri vlečnih sistemov z izmeničnim tokom ozemljeni in vključeni v pot povratnega toka, bodo vsi vodniki do ozemljitve v mejah toka, ki so določene v standardu EN 50163. Kljub temu so lahko napetosti med vodniki višje kot na primer v sistemih z avtotransformatorji.
Napetostni transformatorji se uporabljajo predvsem z
merilnimi instrumenti,
zaščitnimi napravami.
Ta standard EN 50152-3-3 se uporablja tudi za napetostne transformatorje, ki niso induktivni, v smiselno mogočem obsegu. Prednost imajo zahteve tega standarda EN 50152-3-3.
OPOMBA 2   Kombinacije tokovnih in napetostnih transformatorjev ter tudi kapacitivnih napetostnih transformatorjev se običajno ne uporabljajo v stabilnih napravah električne vleke.

This document (EN 50152-3-3:2016) has been prepared by SC 9XC “Electric supply and earthing systems

for public transport equipment and ancillary apparatus (Fixed installations)” of CLC/TC 9X “Electrical and

electronic applications for railways”.

This standard was revised to reflect the latest versions of standards referenced and to remove text already

included in the EN 61869 Series. The structure of the document was adapted to that of EN 50152-1 and

EN 50152-2. Ratings have been added to provide designations in line with other railway standards e.g.

EN 50124. Tests requirements have been detailed to meet operating conditions of railway applications.

Partial discharge voltages have been specified in Table 2.

This standard has to be read in conjunction with EN 61869-1:2009 and EN 61869-3:2011.

Where a particular clause/subclause of EN 61869-3 is not mentioned in this standard, that clause/subclause

applies as far as reasonable. Where requirements relate exclusively to three-phase systems or to voltages

outside those in use in traction systems, they are not applicable. Where this standard states “addition” or

“replacement”, the relevant text of EN 61869-3 is to be adapted accordingly.

The numbering of clauses in EN 61869 Series is similar to that in the EN 50152 Series.

Where terms defined in EN 61869-1 and EN 61869-3 conflict with definitions of the same terms as given in

IEC 60050-811:1991 or of the other railway applications documents listed in the normative references, the

definitions in EN 61869-1 and EN 61869-3 are to be used.

NOTE The suffix N which appears in this standard for rated values is not present in EN 61869–1 and EN 61869–3.

References in subclauses of EN 61869-1 and EN 61869-3 have to be replaced by references to applicable

subclauses in this standard as far as reasonably possible.

1 Scope
This EN 50152-3-3 is applicable to new voltage transformers which are:
