Auxiliaries for lamps - Starting devices (other than glow starters) - Performance requirements

This International Standard specifies performance requirements for starting devices (starters and ignitors) for tubular fluorescent and other discharge lamps for use on a.c. supplies up to 1 000 V at 50 Hz or 60 Hz, which produce starting pulses not greater than 5 kV. This standard is used in conjunction with IEC 61347-1 and IEC 61347-2-1. NOTE 1 All glow starters for fluorescent and other discharge lamps including thermal relay/cut-outs will be included in IEC 60155. NOTE 2 There are regional standards regarding the regulation of EMC requirements for end-products like luminaires and independent control gear. In a luminaire, the control gear is dominant in this respect. Control gear, together with other components, should comply with these standards.

Ta mednarodni standard določa tehnične zahteve za vžigne naprave (starterje in sprožilce) za cevne fluorescenčne in druge razelektritvene sijalke za uporabo pri izmeničnem napajanju do 1000 V pri 50 Hz ali 60 Hz, pri čemer nastajajo vžigni impulzi, ki ne presegajo 5 kV. Ta standard se uporablja v povezavi s standardoma IEC 61347-1 in IEC 61347-2-1. OPOMBA 1: Vsi tlivni starterji za fluorescenčne in druge razelektritvene sijalke, vključno s termoreleji/izklopnimi stikali, bodo vključeni v standard IEC 60155. OPOMBA 2: Obstajajo regionalni standardi v zvezi z urejanjem zahtev za elektromagnetno združljivost za končne izdelke, kot so svetilke in neodvisne krmilne naprave. This amendment A1 modifies the European Standard EN 60927:2007; it was approved by CENELEC on 2013-
10-21. CENELEC members are bound to comply with the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations which stipulate
the conditions for giving this amendment the status of a national standard without any alteration.

Up-to-date lists and bibliographical references concerning such national standards may be obtained on
application to the CEN-CENELEC Management Centre or to any CENELEC member.

This amendment exists in three official versions (English, French, German). A version in any other language
made by translation under the responsibility of a CENELEC member into its own language and notified to the
