La présente Norme européenne prescrit les exigences applicables aux raccords pour flexibles avec demi-coquille conformes au prEN 14420-1 munis d'écrous-unions et de filetages de tuyauterie conformes a l'EN ISO 228-1, ainsi qu'aux douilles conformes au prEN 14420-2 avec filetages de tuyauterie mâles conformes a l'EN ISO 228-1.
La pression de service maximale est de 25 bar et la température de service maximale est de 65 °C.
