Geosynthetics - Determination of the pyramid puncture resistance of supported geosynthetics

This document specifies an index test method to determine the puncture resistance of a geosynthetic on a rigid support.
This method simulates the efficiency of a geosynthetic protecting a geosynthetic barrier material or an other contact surface against sharp rigid elements under short term loading.
Annex A (informative) specifies a test method which could be applicable to a soft support.

Dieses Dokument legt ein Index-Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung des Durchdrückwiderstandes eines Geokunst-
stoffes auf einer harten Unterlage fest.
Dieses Verfahren simuliert die Wirksamkeit eines Geokunststoffes in seiner Funktion als Schutz einer
geosynthetischen Dichtungsbahn oder einer sonstigen Berührungsfläche gegen scharfe starre Gegenstände unter
kurzzeitiger Belastung.
Anhang A (informativ) legt ein Prüfverfahren fest, das für eine weiche Unterlage angewendet werden kann.

Géosynthétiques - Détermination de la résistance au poinçonnement pyramidal de géosynthétiques sur support

Le présent document  décrit une méthode d'essai de référence pour la détermination de la résistance au poinçonnement pyramidal d'un géosynthétique sur support rigide.
Cette méthode permet, par simulation, d'évaluer l'efficacité d'un géosynthétique a protéger une géomembrane ou toute autre surface de contact contre les éléments rigides et tranchants  sous une charge a court terme.
L'annexe A (informative) une méthode d'essai pouvant s'appliquer sur support souple.
