This European Standard defines for four main types of footwear minimum strength requirements for their sole-upper bonds produced with solvent-based or dispersion adhesives under specified conditions.

EN 15307:2007 (E) 3 Foreword This document (EN 15307:2007) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 193 “Adhesives”, the secretariat of which is held by AENOR. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 2007, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by November 2007. This document supersedes EN 1391:1998 and EN 522:1998.
