Geotextiles and geotextile-related products - Dynamic perforation test (cone drop test)

This European standard specifies the determination of the resistance of geotextiles and geotextile-related products to the penetration by a steel cone dropped from a fixed height. The degree of penetration is an indication of the behaviour of the product likely to be caused by dropping sharp stones onto the geotextile surface. The method is generally applicable to geotextiles and geotextile-related products.

Diese Norm beschreibt die Bestimmung der Widerstandsfähigkeit eines Geotextils oder geotextilverwandten Produktes gegenüber dem Eindringen eines Kegels, der aus einer bestimmten Höhe fallengelassen wird. Seine Eindringtiefe ist ein Hinweis auf das Verhalten eines Produktes beim Beschütten der Geotextiloberfläche mit scharfkantigen Steinen. Das Verfahren ist auf Geotextilien und geotextilverwandte Produkte anwendbar.

Cette norme décrit la détermination de la résistance des géotextiles et produits apparentés a la pénétration par un cône d'acier tombant en chute libre d'une hauteur déterminée. Le degré de pénétration constitue une indication sur le comportement du produit pouvant etre causé par la chute de pierres anguleuses sur la face d'un géotextile. La méthode est généralement applicable a tous les géotextiles et produits apparentés.
