Thermal insulation products for buildings - External thermal insulation composite kits with a rendering system (ETIC kits) - Characteristics
This document specifies the characteristics and performance for design External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (design ETICS) with rendering systems on thermal insulation products, delivered as a kit by a system holder, and used as thermal insulation for buildings.
This document covers design ETICS kits on walls which are made of masonry (bricks, blocks, stones, etc.) or concrete (cast on site or as prefabricated panels) with or without rendering systems. This document covers ETICS with thermal insulation products made of cellular glass, expanded polystyrene, expanded cork, mineral wool, phenolic foam, rigid polyurethane foam, extruded polystyrene foam or wood fibre as far as they comply with Annex B.
A design ETICS kit comprises a prefabricated insulation product bonded onto the wall, or mechanically fixed using anchors, profiles, etc., or a combination of adhesive and mechanical fixings. The insulation product is faced with a rendering system consisting of one or more layers (site applied), one of which contains reinforcement. The rendering system is applied directly to the insulating panels, without an air gap or disconnecting layer.
This document is not applicable for:
a) Mechanically fixed kits with supplementary adhesive with the mass per unit area of the rendering system of > 40 kg/m2 in end use conditions intended by the system holder and/or mechanical fixed kits with the mass per unit area of the rendering system plus thermal insulation product of > 65 kg/m2 intended by the system holder.
b) Mechanically fixed kits without supplementary adhesive with the mass per unit area of the rendering system of > 30 kg/m2 in end use conditions intended by the system holder and/or mechanical fixed kits with the mass per unit area of the rendering system plus thermal insulation product of > 60 kg/m2 intended by the system holder and/or with a thickness of the thermal insulation product intended by the system holder of > 200 mm. For thermal insulations products with thicknesses ≤ 200 mm fixed with anchors without supplementary adhesive, the bending deformation of the mechanically fixing devices is assumed as negligible.
c) Purely bonded kits with or without supplementary mechanically fixing devices with bonded area (coverage) less than 40 %, intended by the system holder.
d) Mechanically fixed kits with supplementary adhesive with bonded area (coverage) less than 40 %, intended by the system holder.
e) Kits incorporating a thermal insulation product providing a declared thermal resistance of less than 1 m2K/W.
External insulation and finishing systems (EIFS) according to ISO 17738 are not covered by this standard.
Wärmedämmstoffe für Gebäude - Außenseitige Wärmedämmverbundsysteme mit Putzoberfläche (WDVS) - Spezifikation
Dieses Dokument legt die Eigenschaften von außenseitigen Wärmedämm-Verbundsystem-Bausätzen mit Putzsystem (WDVS Bausätze) für Außenwände und/oder Außenwandbeschichtungen (einschließlich Verkleidungen) fest.
Im Anwendungsbereich dieses Dokuments werden WDVS Bausätze für Außenwände verwendet, die entweder aus Mauerwerk (Ziegel, Steine usw.) oder Beton (Ortbeton oder Betonfertigteile) bestehen.
Dieses Dokument deckt WDVS Bausätze mit den folgenden Komponenten ab:
a) in A.1 festgelegte Kleber, d. h. gebrauchsfertige Mörtel, Trockenmörtel oder PU Klebeschäume;
b) Wärmedämmstoffe, die aus einem der folgenden in A.2 festgelegten Werkstoffe bestehen: Mineral-wolle (MW), expandiertes Polystyrol (EPS), extrudierter Polystyrolschaum (XPS), Polyurethan-Hart-schaum (PU), Phenolharzschaum (PF), Schaumglas (CG), expandierter Kork (ICB) oder Holzfasern (WF);
c) in A.3 festgelegte mechanische Befestigungsmittel, d. h. Tellerdübel, Spiraldübel, Profile und Schienen mit Bunddübeln oder Dübel für verdübeltes Metallgewebe;
d) in A.4 festgelegter gebrauchsfertiger Unterputz oder Trockenmischung für Unterputz;
e) in A.5 festgelegte Verstärkungen aus Glasfaser- oder Metallgewebe;
f) in A.6 festgelegte Zwischenbeschichtungen;
g) in A.7 festgelegter gebrauchsfertiger Oberputz oder Trockenmischung für Oberputz;
h) in A.8 festgelegte dekorative Beschichtungen.
Dieses Dokument gilt für WDVS Bausätze, die entweder mit Kleber oder mechanischen Befestigungsmitteln oder einer Kombination aus beidem auf dem Untergrund befestigt werden. Letztere sind als Befestigungsarten (I bis VIII) zusammengefasst, in 3.1.3.1 bis 3.1.3.8 definiert und in A.9 weiter festgelegt.
Dieses Dokument legt Verfahren für die Bewertung und Überprüfung der Leistungsbeständigkeit (en: Assessment and Verification of Constancy of Performance, AVCP) auf der Grundlage der Merkmale des WDVS Bausatzes fest.
Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für:
- WDVS Bausätze mit Komponenten und Befestigungsarten, die a) von den oben genannten Komponenten und Befestigungsarten abweichen und die b) die in Anhang A festgelegten Anforderungen an ihre Parameter nicht erfüllen;
- WDVS Bausätze mit anderen Schlussschichten als Putzsystemen, z. B. Keramikfliesen, Glasfliesen, Kalksandstein, Klinker, Natur- und Kunststeine;
- außenseitige Wärmedämm- und Beschichtungssysteme (en: external insulation and finishing systems, EIFS) nach ISO 17738.
Produits isolants thermiques pour bâtiments - Kits d’isolation thermique extérieure par enduit sur isolant (kits ETIC) - Caractéristiques
Le présent document spécifie les caractéristiques des kits d’isolation thermique extérieure par enduit sur isolant (kits ETIC) pour les murs extérieurs et/ou les finitions extérieures des murs (revêtements inclus).
Dans le présent document, les kits ETIC sont utilisés sur des murs extérieurs constitués d’éléments de maçonnerie (briques, blocs, pierres, etc.) ou en béton (coulé sur site ou panneaux préfabriqués).
Concernant les composants, le présent document couvre les kits ETIC comprenant :
a) des colles, qui sont des mortiers sous forme de pâtes prêtes à l’emploi, des mortiers en poudre ou des mousses adhésives PU (voir A.1 pour une spécification complète) ;
b) des isolants thermiques constitués de l’un des matériaux suivants : laine minérale (MW), polystyrène expansé (EPS), mousse de polystyrène extrudé (XPS), mousse de polyuréthane rigide (PU), mousse phénolique (PF), verre cellulaire (CG), liège expansé (ICB) ou fibre de bois (WF) (voir A.2 pour une spécification complète) ;
c) des dispositifs de fixation mécanique qui sont des chevilles à rosace, des chevilles hélicoïdales, des profilés de maintien avec des chevilles à collerette ou des chevilles de fixation pour treillis métallique (voir A.3 pour une spécification complète) ;
d) des enduits de base qui sont sous forme de pâtes prêtes à l’emploi ou de poudre (voir A.4 pour une spécification complète) ;
e) des armatures qui sont des treillis en fibres de verre ou des treillis métalliques (voir A.5 pour une spécification complète) ;
f) des produits d’impression (voir A.6 pour une spécification complète) ;
g) des enduits de finition qui sont sous forme de pâtes prêtes à l’emploi ou de poudre (voir A.7 pour une spécification complète) ;
f) des revêtements décoratifs (voir A.8 pour une spécification complète).
Le présent document couvre les kits ETIC qui sont fixés au support à l’aide de colle, de dispositifs de fixation mécanique ou d’une combinaison des deux, et regroupés par méthodes de fixation (I à VIII) définies de 3.1.3.1 à 3.1.3.8 (voir A.9 pour une description complémentaire).
Le présent document décrit également les modes opératoires pour l’évaluation et la vérification de la constance des performances (AVCP) des caractéristiques des kits ETIC.
Le présent document ne couvre pas :
- les kits ETIC incluant les composants et les méthodes de fixation a) autres ceux indiqués ci dessus et b) non conformes aux critères définis pour leurs paramètres (voir l’Annexe A pour une description complémentaire) ;
- les kits ETIC comprenant des couches de finition autres que des systèmes d’enduit (par exemple carreaux céramiques, tuiles de verres, briques silico calcaires, briquettes céramiques, pierres naturelles et artificielles) ;
- les systèmes de finition et d’isolation externe (EIFS) conformes à l’ISO 17738.
