ISO 217:2013 specifies a primary range and a supplementary range of untrimmed sizes of paper in sheets which are to be trimmed to sizes as given in ISO 216 and establishes a system of designation of untrimmed sizes.
ISO 217:2013 also specifies the method for the indication of machine direction of untrimmed sizes.

This International Standard specifies the trimmed sizes of writing paper and certain classes of printed matter. ISO 22414:2004 specifies a test method for assessing the quality of the cut edge of cut-size office paper. It is applicable to papers of the type described in ISO 216, as well as other cut-size office papers used for printing and copying.

This European Standard specifies the performance requirements for uncoated cut-size paper for dry toner imaging processes (i.e. copy paper), in 80 g/m2 and in A4 format based on EN 20216. Other grammages and sizes of the ISO-A series are covered by this European standard, as long as the requirements specified in this European standard are fulfilled.

This European Standard specifies the determination of the adhesion of dry toner on paper sheets, printed with imaging machines such as copiers and printers. The chosen measuring range allows discrimination of toner adhesion around the level found with many common paper and machine combinations. Since divers imaging processes give different toner adhesion, the described method at constant IGT speed is not advised to compare degree of toner adhesion between different types of machines.

Specifies the requirements for permanent paper intended for documents given in terms of minimum strength measured by a tear test, minimum content of substance (such as calcium carbonate) that neutralize acid action measured by the alkali reserve, maximum content of easily oxidized material measured by the kappa number, maximum and minimum pH values of a cold water extract of the paper. Is applicable to unprinted papers. Is not applicable to boards.

Applies to sheets or documents that can be perforated in an office with a simple punch, and does not apply to sheets or documents intended for special filing systems.

Describes the sizes of continuous forms and the diameter and location of the sprocket feed holes. Applies to paper in continuous lengths intended for use with automatic data processing equipment for print-out of documents for administrative, commercial and technical use.
