Standard Guide for Testing Amino Resins (Withdrawn 2007)

SCOPE
1.1 This guide covers test methods suitable for testing heat-reactive nitrogen resins, particularly urea-formaldehyde and melamine-formaldehyde resins. The test methods used are listed in Table 1.
WITHDRAWN RATIONALE
This guide covers test methods suitable for testing heat-reactive nitrogen resins, particularly urea-formaldehyde and melamine-formaldehyde resins. The test methods used are D 1013, D 1198, D 1209, D 1259, D 1475, D 1545, D 1639, and D 3278.
Formerly under the jurisdiction of Committee D01 on Paint and Related Coatings, Materials, and Applications, this guide was withdrawn in March 2007 in accordance with section 10.5.3.1 of the Regulations Governing ASTM Technical Committees, which requires that standards shall be updated by the end of the eighth year since the last approval date.
