This standard specifies the characteristics of O’ring seal for jam-nut receptacles in the family of circular electrical connectors coupled by threaded ring.
It applies to the class defined in Table 2.
For the receptacles using these jam-nuts, see EN 2997-004 and EN 2997-006.

Diese Norm legt die Eigenschaften von Dichtringen für feste Steckverbinder mit Mutternbefestigung in der
Familie der elektrischen Rundsteckverbinder mit Schraubkupplung fest.
Sie gilt für die in Tabelle 2 festgelegten Klassen.
Siehe EN 2997-004 und EN 2997-006 bezüglich fester Steckverbinder, bei denen diese Sechskantmuttern
verwendet werden.
