Decorative wallcoverings - Roll form
This document applies to wallcoverings in roll form supplied for hanging onto internal walls, partitions or ceilings, by means of an adhesive, whose primary purpose is decorative. However, certain wallcoverings in roll form may confer minor sound absorption and thermal resistance properties.
The European Standards for wallcoverings in roll form to which this document relates, and which provide additional product definitions and requirements, include the following:
- finished wallpapers, wall vinyls and plastics wallcoverings (EN 233);
- wallcoverings for subsequent decoration (EN 234);
- textile wallcoverings (EN 266);
- Cork rolls (EN 13085);
- heavy duty wallcoverings (EN 259-1).
It also provides for the assessment and verification of constancy of performance (AVCP) of characteristics and marking of these products.
It does not apply to wallcoverings whose primary purpose is structural or protective.
Dekorative Wandbekleidungen - Rollen
Dieses Dokument gilt für Wandbekleidungen in Rollen, die vorrangig zu dekorativen Zwecken an Innen-wände, Trennwände oder Decken angeklebt werden. Bestimmte Wandbekleidungen in Rollen können jedoch auch geringfügig zur Schallabsorption und zum Wärmedurchlasswiderstand beitragen.
Die Europäischen Normen für Wandbekleidungen in Rollen, auf die sich das vorliegende Dokument bezieht und in denen zusätzliche Produktdefinitionen und Anforderungen bereitgestellt werden, schließen die folgenden ein:
- fertige Papier , Vinyl und Kunststoffwandbekleidungen (EN 233);
- Wandbekleidungen für nachträgliche Behandlung (EN 234);
- Textilwandbekleidungen (EN 266);
- Korkrollen (EN 13085);
- hoch beanspruchbare Wandbekleidungen (EN 259-1).
Darüber hinaus wird in der vorliegenden Norm auch die Bewertung und Überprüfung der Leistungs-beständigkeit (AVCP) der Merkmale und die Kennzeichnung dieser Produkte festgelegt.
Die Norm gilt nicht für Wandbekleidungen, die vorwiegend einen baulichen oder einen Schutzzweck erfüllen.

Le présent document s’applique à tous les revêtements muraux en rouleaux destinés à être posés sur les murs intérieurs, les cloisons ou les plafonds au moyen d’une colle et dont la vocation est principalement décorative. Toutefois, certains revêtements muraux en rouleaux peuvent conférer des propriétés mineures d’absorption acoustique et de résistance thermique.
Les Normes européennes relatives aux revêtements muraux en rouleaux auxquelles est lié le présent document et qui fournissent des définitions de produit et des exigences supplémentaires, comprennent :
- papiers peints finis, revêtements muraux vinyles et revêtements muraux en plastique (EN 233) ;
- revêtements muraux pour décoration ultérieure (EN 234) ;
- revêtements muraux textiles (EN 266) ;
- rouleaux en liège (EN 13085) ;
- revêtements muraux à usage intense (EN 259-1).
Il prévoit également l’évaluation et la vérification de la constance des performances (EVCP) des caractéristiques et le marquage de ces produits.
Il ne s’applique pas aux revêtements muraux dont la principale fonction est structurale ou protectrice.
Dekorativne stenske obloge - Zvitki
Ta evropski standard se uporablja za vse stenske obloge v obliki zvitkov, namenjene za obešanje na notranje stene, predelne stene ali strope z lepilom, katerih prvotni namen je dekorativen. Kljub temu pa lahko določene stenske obloge zagotavljajo manjšo absorbcijo zvoka in slabše lastnosti toplotne upornosti.
Podaja tudi vrednotenje skladnosti ter ocenjevanje in preverjanje stalnosti delovanja (AVCP) izdelkov z zahtevami tega standarda.
Ne uporablja se za stenske obloge, katerih prvotni namen je konstrukcijski ali zaščitni (npr. pred paro ali vlago).

This document (EN 15102:2019) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 99
“Wallcoverings”, the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2019 and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by December 2019.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN 15102:2007+A1:2011.
This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and the
European Free Trade Association.
