Wallcoverings in roll form - Specification for finished wallpapers, wall vinyls and plastics wallcoverings

This European Standard:
-   specifies requirements for finished wallpapers, wall vinyls and plastics wallcoverings;
-   specifies requirements for marking;
-   gives the designation system.
The marking requirements of this standard are primarily for the consumer's information to enable optimum selection of the product.
This standard applies to finished wallpapers, wall vinyls and plastics wallcoverings not intended for subsequent decoration supplied in rolls for hanging on indoor walls and ceilings by means of an adhesive covering the whole of the interface between the wallcovering and the support surface.
Excluded from this standard are rigid materials, materials not attached or not wholly attached by adhesive, wallcoverings for subsequent decoration, textile wallcoverings and non-decorative wallcoverings such as wall linings or those with special properties, e.g. thermal or acoustic insulation.

Wandbekleidungen in Rollen - Festlegungen für fertige Papier-, Vinyl- und Kunststoffwandbekleidungen

Diese Europäische Norm:
-   legt Anforderungen an fertige Papier-, Vinyl- und Kunststoffwandbekleidungen und
-   an die Kennzeichnung fest und
-   enthält das Bezeichnungssystem.
Die Anforderungen dieser Norm an die Kennzeichnung dienen hauptsächlich der Verbraucherinformation zur Ermöglichung einer optimalen Auswahl des Produktes.
Diese Norm gilt für fertige Papier-, Vinyl- und Kunststoffwandbekleidungen in Rollen, für die keine nachträgliche Behandlung vorgesehen ist, die beim Tapezieren von Wänden und Decken mit einem Klebstoff angeklebt werden, der die gesamte Grenzfläche zwischen Wandbekleidung und Untergrund bedeckt.
Harte Werkstoffe, Werkstoffe, die nicht oder unvollständig angeklebt werden, Wandbekleidungen zur nachträglichen Behandlung, Textilwandbekleidungen und Wandbekleidungen ohne dekorative Funktion, wie Wandbeläge, oder Wandbekleidungen mit besonderen Eigenschaften, z. B. Wärme- oder Schalldämmvermögen, sind nicht Gegenstand dieser Norm.

Revêtements muraux en rouleaux - Spécification des papiers peints finis, des revêtements muraux vinyles et des revêtements muraux en plastique

La présente Norme européenne :
-   spécifie les exigences pour les papiers peints finis, les revêtements muraux vinyles et les revêtements muraux en plastique ;
-   spécifie les exigences pour le marquage ;
-   donne un système de désignation.
Les spécifications de marquage de la présente norme visent, en premier lieu, l’information du consommateur afin de permettre un choix optimal du produit.
La présente norme s’applique aux papiers peints finis, aux revêtements muraux vinyles et aux revêtements muraux en plastique non destinés à une décoration ultérieure, vendus en rouleaux pour être appliqués sur les murs et les plafonds intérieurs à l’aide d’un adhésif couvrant la totalité de l’interface entre le revêtement mural et le subjectile.
Sont exclus de cette norme les matériaux rigides, les matériaux qui ne se fixent pas à l’aide d’adhésif ou pas sur toute leur surface, les revêtements muraux pour décoration ultérieure, les revêtements muraux textiles et les revêtements muraux non décoratifs, tels que les revêtements d’apprêt, ou ceux ayant des propriétés particulières, par exemple isolation thermique ou acoustique.

Ta evropski standard:
– določa zahteve za tapete ter stenske obloge iz vinila in umetne mase;
– določa zahteve za označevanje;
– podaja sistem za označevanje.
Zahteve za označevanje tega standarda služijo predvsem kot informacija za potrošnike, ki jim omogoča lažjo izbiro najustreznejšega izdelka.
Ta standard se uporablja za tapete ter stenske obloge iz vinila in umetne mase v zvitkih, ki niso namenjene nadaljnjemu okraševanju in se uporabljajo za nanašanje na notranje stene in strop s pomočjo lepila, s katerim se prekrije celotno območje med stensko oblogo in podporno površino.
Iz tega standarda so izključeni togi materiali, ki delno ali v celoti niso pritrjeni z lepilom, stenske obloge, ki so namenjene nadaljnjemu okraševanju, stenske obloge iz blaga in stenske obloge, ki niso namenjene okraševanju ali ki imajo posebne lastnosti, npr. toplotna ali zvočna izolacija.

EN 233:2016 (CEN) specifies requirements, marking and a designation system for finished wallpapers, wall vinyls and plastics wallcoverings supplied in rolls for hanging on indoor walls and ceilings. The standard applies to products that are ready for use and not intended for subsequent decoration. It excludes rigid materials, textile wallcoverings, wallcoverings for subsequent decoration and non-decorative or special-purpose linings (e.g. thermal or acoustic insulation).
