This standard specifies the characteristics of protective covers for receptaclesin the family of circular electrical connectors coupled by threaded ring. It applies to thr models defined in table 3. For receptacles asociated with these protective covers, see EN 2997-003 to EN 2997-007.

Diese Norm legt die Eigenschaften der Schutzkappen für feste elektrische Rundsteckverbinder mit Schraubkupplung fest. Sie gilt für die in Tabelle 3 festgelegten Baunormen. Für die für diese Schutzkappen verwendbaren festen Steckverbinder siehe jeweils EN 2997-003 bis EN 2997-007.

Elle s'applique aux modèles définis dans le tableau 3. Pour les embases associées à ces bouchons de vol voir EN 2997-003 à EN 2997-007.
