Aerospace series - Cables, electrical, for general purpose, single and multicore assembly - XLETFE Family - Part 002: General

This European Standard specifies the list of product standards and common characteristics of electrical cables for use in the on-board electrical systems of aircraft operating at temperatures between – 65 °C to 135 °C and 150 °C, dependent upon conductor type. The voltage rating is 600 V rms at sea level. This insulation system has been used in aerospace applications using 115 V ac (phase-to-neutral) 400 Hz and 28 V dc. Verification of the suitability of cables for use in other electrical systems is the responsibility of the user.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Liste von Produktnormen sowie allgemeine Merkmale von elektrischen Leitungen zur Verwendung in der Bordelektrik von Luftfahrzeugen bei Betriebstemperaturen von −65 °C bis 135 °C und 150 °C, in Abhängigkeit vom Leitertyp, fest. Die Bemessungsspannung beträgt 600 V eff auf Meereshöhe. Dieses Isoliersystem wurde bei Luft  und Raumfahrtanwendungen mit 115 V Wechselstrom (Phase gegen Neutral), 400 Hz und 28 V Gleichstrom angewendet. Der Anwender ist für den Nachweis der Eignung von Leitungen zur Anwendung in anderen elektrischen Systemen verantwortlich.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie la liste des normes de produit et les caractéristiques communes des câbles électriques utilisés dans les systèmes électriques à bord des aéronefs à une température de fonctionnement comprise entre - 65 °C et 135 °C, et 150 °C selon le type de conducteur. La tension nominale est de 600 V rms au niveau de la mer. Ce système d’isolement a été utilisé dans les applications aérospatiales fonctionnant à 115 V ca (phase-neutre) 400 Hz et 28 V cc. Il incombe à l’utilisateur de vérifier si les câbles peuvent être utilisés dans d’autres systèmes électriques.

Ta evropski standard določa seznam standardov za proizvod in skupnih značilnosti električnih kablov za uporabo v električnih sistemih na krovu letala pri obratovalnih temperaturah med –65 °C in 135 °C ter 150 °C, odvisno od vrste vodnika. Nazivna napetost je 600 V RMS na morski gladini. Ta izolacijski sistem se je uporabljal v aeronavtiki pri izmenični napetosti 115 V (za fazno napetost) pri 400 Hz in 28 V pri enosmerni napetosti. Za preverjanje ustreznosti kablov za uporabo v drugih električnih sistemih je odgovoren uporabnik.
