Cereals - Determination of impurities content in maize (Zea mays, L.) and sorghum (Sorghum bicolor, L.)

This European Standard specifies the term Besatz (impurities) and the method for the determination of its components. The term Besatz is used as a parameter for certain quality aspects in maize (Zea mays L.) and sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L.).
This method has been validated in an interlaboratory study via the analysis of samples containing natural amount of impurities, ranging from:
-   0,0 % to 2,7 % for broken grains;
-   0,2 % to 3,5 % for grains impurities;
-   0,5 % to 3,3 % for miscellaneous impurities;
-   1,8 % to 8,7 % for total impurities.

Diese Europäische Norm legt den Begriff Besatz sowie das Verfahren zur Bestimmung seiner Bestandteile fest. Der Begriff Besatz wird als ein Parameter für bestimmte Qualitätsaspekte von Mais (Zea mays L.) und Hirse (Sorghum bicolor L.) verwendet.
Dieses Verfahren wurde in einem Ringversuch validiert mit Hilfe der Untersuchung von Proben, die natürliche Mengen an Besatz enthalten, im Bereich von:
-   0,0 % bis 2,7 % bei Bruchkorn;
-   0,2 % bis 3,5 % bei Kornbesatz;
-   0,5 % bis 3,3 % bei Schwarzbesatz;
-   1,8 % bis 8,7 % bei Gesamt Besatz.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie le terme «impuretés» et décrit la méthode de détermination de ses composants. Le terme «impuretés» est utilisé comme un paramètre pour certains aspects qualitatifs du maïs (Zea mays L.) et du sorgho (Sorghum bicolor L.).
Cette méthode a été validée dans le cadre d’une étude interlaboratoires via l’analyse d’échantillons contenant une quantité naturelle d’impuretés, allant de :
-   0,0 % à 2,7 % pour les grains brisés ;
-   0,2 % à 3,5 % pour les impuretés constituées par des grains ;
-   0,5 % à 3,3 % pour les impuretés diverses ;
-   1,8 % à 8,7 % pour les impuretés totales.

Ta evropski standard določa nečistoče in opisuje metode za določanje delov nečistoč. Izraz »nečistoče« se uporablja kot parameter za nekatere vidike kakovosti pri koruzi (Zea mays L.) in prosu (Sorghum bicolor L). Ta metoda je bila validirana z medlaboratorijsko študijo prek analize vzorcev, ki so vsebovali naravno količino nečistoč od: – od 0,0 % do 2,7 % počenih zrn; od 0,2 % do 3,5 % nečistoč zrn; – od 0,5 % do 3,3 % drugih nečistoč; – od 1,8 % do 8,7 % vseh nečistoč.
