Copper and copper alloys - Eddy current testing on the outer surface of rods, bars, hollow rods and wires for the detection of defects by encircling test coil

This document specifies a procedure for fully automatic eddy current testing with no operator involvement with an encircling test coil for detecting defects on the surface of copper and copper alloy rods, bars, hollow rods and wires with a minimum diameter or width across flats defined in the relevant product standards.
This test method can be continuous or discontinuous depending on the product.
The product size range and test acceptance level are defined in the relevant product standards.

Kupfer und Kupferlegierungen - Wirbelstromprüfung an der Oberfläche von Stangen, Rechteckstangen, Hohlstangen und Drähten zur Messung von Fehlern mit umfassender Prüfspule

Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren zur vollautomatischen Wirbelstromprüfung ohne Beteiligung eines Bedieners mithilfe einer umfassenden Prüfspule fest, um Fehler an der Oberfläche von Stangen, Rechteckstangen, Hohlstangen und Drähten aus Kupfer und Kupferlegierungen zu erkennen, für die ein Mindestdurchmesser oder eine minimale Schlüsselweite in den entsprechenden Produktnormen festgelegt ist.
Dieses Prüfverfahren kann je nach Produkt kontinuierlich oder punktuell angewandt werden.
Der Produktgrößenbereich und die Abnahmekriterien der Prüfung sind in den maßgebenden Produktnormen festgelegt.

Le présent document spécifie un mode opératoire permettant de procéder à un contrôle par courants de Foucault entièrement automatique, sans intervention d'un opérateur, au moyen d'une bobine encerclante pour détecter des défauts présents sur la surface externe des barres, barres rectangulaires, barres creuses et fils en cuivre et alliages de cuivre dont le diamètre minimal ou la largeur minimale sur plats sont définis dans les normes de produit pertinentes.
Cette méthode d'essai peut être continue ou discontinue en fonction du produit.
La gamme de dimensions du produit et le niveau d'acceptation de l'essai sont définis dans les normes de produit pertinentes.
