EN 2838:2013 is a European aerospace series standard that specifies the required properties of chloroprene rubber (CR) - heat resistant, hardness 70 IRHD - for aerospace applications. The standard defines performance limits, test methods and service temperature ranges to ensure consistent material behavior for components exposed to atmospheric ageing, ozone and moderate contact with petroleum-based fluids.
